i think thi sis the silliest thread ever.. my god what a lot of whining from all directions.. the funniest thing was the "complaint" that mid took a relic during a football game?!!? how LAME is that... so its ok 24/7 but not during a football game?

I could care less if its done during witching hour or peak hour, but the stratregical thing to do if you reeeally want the relic back is to do when theres least resistance. Its the smartest thing to do ... " no wait we cant go now.. theres noone defending the relic yet..." <-- thats just stupid.

Hit them where it hurts repeatedly and when you got a bigger chance of winning. But DONT whine about it, get back on track and get revenge.

Or am i totally wrong here.. if so this game is not for me.

My hats of to Albion for getting organised and takling our Str relic (tho i dont like it .. but thats another story )

My hats goes of as well to The Alliance for im certain that even as we speak (whine ??) something mischevious (sp? ) plan is boiling nad being formed =) .. but i guess that the albs will find out when they do a /realm one day .

krusha read the whole posts.as usual mids complaining about the time of night.we said why complain when mids try same thing when we off guard ie during football match.
its a simple matter of attacking when you know less people out there to defend.all this quote about try this when we defending .right.i am sure mids told us they coming to excaliber so go protect it.not!
do you for one second think if mids could get an army at midnight and do a relic raid they would not?
so we are more we can do this.this is a english server with a lot of people from UK.king arthur is english.cornwall is in england.town of ludlow is in wales.so do you not think people will go to a realm that they can relate with?
personally i think its bad form to moan about the time always.look when you took our relic in excal how many people moaned they were drunk in a pub supporting their country.
its a game simple take our relic we take yours game goes on.sad that no one seems to care to try for hibs bashing in emain is totally boring lets make it a 3 way battle for relics .
as for the hibs saying come fight a defend relic yeah right try going for a relic raid yourself and see what you can do before you talk as i know hibs never tried for any apart from a rumour that might not be true even about you guys getting lost in pen mounts))

There have been hib relic raids in Albion, and Midgard, all thoroughly unsuccessful.

There have been Albion and Midgard attempts at hib relics, all successfully defended although the albs did manage to bash down the outer gate at Lamthota once. Cost us a bloody fortune to fix.

Well I dont complain about the time, I found it very fun to get 3 hours sleep just for scouting around in grallarhorn area with my lvl 30 hunter Spix, just to find out later that mids was camping at the wrong relic.. or waiting for albs to come and make a visit to our one door keep after taking the strength relic...
I guess our (mids) lack of communication and exp/item thirst was the weak link yesterday. Also the time want the best for us but still nothing to cry about.
I got reports that the Strength relic was intercepted so I went to power relic to scout... local time around 23.30 - 1.00 cet not sure though, was around till 3.30
But the only thing I saw was 2 very purple drum playing hibs? that chased me around at Odins gate when I went there to get a look (you didnt catch me )
So gratz to albs for that.
And mids needs to shape up, I know we had players online to atleast resist, if we knew where to go.
Screw the 3 "alliances" and unite or atleast let all three alliances know whats going on, its best for all.

how did you know btw we were going for relic ? hibs arrived at wall before st relic went neutral . reason i know is because i was sat at amg for 3 hrs scouting for hibs/mids that may come to block relic carrying team

I was bored after being zerged, so went to yggdra for my stress relief sessions, only to find no mids, so went to go into the power relic fort to pick up the 2 relics and suicide (Which I managed later in the evening )

When I got there I saw the pulling army, and for you mids benefit it was too weak really to take the relic imo, was mainly yellow\orange to me at 43, with only 2 reds that I could see.

Anyway I saw this as an oppurtunity, so sent out messages to a few hibbies to get an intercept force to odins however I didnt know you were at uppland aswell until someone in the chat group said the str relic was neutral

all in all Grats albs, was a nicely executed raid personally i like everyone having 2 relics, keeps everything in balanceish, but i wont argue if hibernia has more i wish i coulda been at the wall when the relic carriers were there, but alas i logged for the night

I played midgard on guinivere (US server) for 5 months before moving to the UK servers, so I know you're talking garbage about them not taking relics from defended relic keeps. EVERY realm over there has done it on at least 1 server that I know of.

Check out the signature, I'm not a midgard now (perhaps you should do more reading when you get back to class, after playtime of course.)

About the time we the distraction army arrived to grallar i got the msg mids had captured crauchon.

A force big enough to capture DC would be big enough to defend the relic as none of the 2 armies was very big...

So dont blame us blame yourselfs for not scouting your frontier. Also like everyone says the raid did start at 22:45 gmt thats when we met in odins gate.

I left alb tk after I died to the crowd of 20-25 yellow/blue con albs at 01:15 cet, that makes it 00:15 gmt, a monday morning, so in best case scenario u would have entered mid-land at 00:30.

This being from an early post from Sub.

Both rellic armies gathered at 22.30 GMT and were in odins and ready to go at 23.00 GMT. Scouts reported the wall was not clear so we waited till we decided to clear it from hibs at about 23.30 Gmt. We camped till they released, called em back and sent out the 2nd army wich walsed over a few mids at the wall ... yay sub you were frontline defense

Oh wait next time I'll come to NP channel 30 minutes before the attack to tell you wich rellic we are going after. So you can all fix yourselves a cup of coffee and some snacks while we march to our deaths.

This to albions here, plz stop discussing the used tactics on this board unless you want to see them used against yourself sometime. There are reasons as for why we did do and not do certain things but there is no need to explain them here. Just look at it as a game of chess where you plan moves ahead.
