Not like i saw in a neighbouring alliance yesterday, someone selling a BOI (band of ice (ring)) and a guy looking for an emain grp.
And an open argument, in /as. All in a 1600-0000 gaming session.
The kind of alliance where ppl turn off the /as in grp windows due to spam.

These "crappy" rules are necessary for a large alliance with 200+ peeps online in the evenings. I have seen other alliances colapse because of all the bullshit people "have" to say in /as. i.e selling stuff (use FH, housing zones, broadcast), asking "noob" questions (ask the guild, FH, use broad, PM advisors), asking for PvE/RvR groups etc.
LFOM alliance chat are used for important messages or stuff that more then 0.1% cares about. Keeptakes/Large raids/Enemies in the frontier etc.

If you or your guild don't like the rules and how the /as is used, perhaps you should consider some other alliance. Or come with some concrete suggestions what kind of changes you want to see.

FoM alliance chat rulez are so CRAP (as the whole main FoM noobzerg guild)
im happy im not part of their alliance anymore, have no idea how they manage to keep information flow over lots of ppl in these days of toa if no ML raid and trade cg chats allowed...

once i asked who has trade cg PM pls?
and got replies STFU etc :]
not telling who may hold it or smth, but to STFU :] nice, since any1 asks my help i dont say STFU and bug off, but maybe try to help..

well i understand somewhere this alliance chat is about realmdefence, thou most keep are not in fom alliance hands/not takin the whole thing seriously

ML raid and trade cg chats allowed...

We encourage people to announce ML raids over /as.. we don't encourage lazy people to spam /as every hour to ask if someone ELSE are arranging one.

Trade/Scroll CG's are so last month stuff.

didnt want to hurt your feelings, just told my experiences. alliance leaders should be more flexible about /AS rules imo, because its really great tool, but its really your buisness. again : go and take a look (if u can) in other alliances (in other realms/servers etc) and have different points of view :]

Been in both WR and FOM alliance
I have never had to turn /as off in fom, in WR i did it several times a day, sometimes during several hours it was just constant flow of spam WTB!!! WTS!!!! WHATS THE STATS ON THIS AND THAT???? but its a long time since i was in WR alliance, maybe it has changed by now
but we all have different opinions on what we wanna see in /as

TDD had Glen for 4 months up until Saturday morning.
And TDA had Bled before albs took it.
That makes it:

FoM has contributed to the well being of Midgard x100 more than your guild will ever do. With 84mill+ and nr. 5 guild in Mid and nr 15 on Server we really must be a bunch of n00bz. However we are not NP/JH/DH/BF/AD etc. We never intended or will be a hardcore RvR guild, but n00bs we are not. I think it is safe to say that we are happy you left.

If you had taken your time to read, understand and follow the rules you would not have used /as for silly crap like that. Wanna find something? Go to the fucking housingzone, or used the forum. I quite sure you got the pm in a different format.

Differnce being that some of them are much smaller than our. It does not require to much intelligence to understand that the bigger the alliance the stricter the rules needs to be. LFoM alliance have held keeps and defended them vigorously since day 1. In fact it makes you look extremely silly to even mention anything like that.

If you had know a little bit more on the inside of why there are 2 Alliances in Midgard and why FoM and WR play an important role in each alliance you would understand. WR is a mighty fine guild and in many ways WR and FoM are alike. Both guilds being steady, reliable, big and alive. We are both in the middle of RvR and PvE.

Other than that gj to both alliances in Midgard for keeping us unified. And gratz to CF-Alliance for being the most effective.
