Product key card - for unlocking full version of Office 2010 Home and Student on a pre-loaded (Office 2010 Starter) PC.

I do not believe my friend has Office trial 2010 pre-loaded on their machine. If they bought the Key Card, would they be able to get a trial and then unlock the software?

Does anyone know a cheap place to buy Office 2010 officially?
