They have pretty much copied firefox, tabs and all.

Firefox > * and that's gonna stay like that I hope =) At least I'm not gonna use IE as it's full of bugs, holes and security problems, no matter what MS wants to tell you =)

I keep switching between Firefox and IE

I find IE much quicker than Firefox, which seems to take (a) ages to load up, and (b) keeps doing fucking stupid things with my favourites, cookies, and history.

I'll keep using IE for now.

IE is integrated within windows thats why its quicker, theres not much the ff team can do about it.

Eww noo.. why would anyone want Mozilla? :p From what i can tell it's Firefox and Thunderbird bundled into one? It just doesn't sound as cool :p

Anyone know if IE7 is going to be a forced update? I hope so. Naturally i won't use it because i have all my themes/extensions sorted already but it i hear they fix all kinds of nasty web design problems they created with IE6.

Yes, it's going to be a critical update, but you can bypass if you want by installing a Blocker Toolkit From MS.

Strange, i find FF much quicker to load up and use than IE (i don't have any FF plugins or themes tho maybe this helps?)

The layout of FF is better than IE (once you get used to it, things are much easier to find and organize)

What has completely swung it for me is the built in spell checker in FF, I do alot of work on message forums so its a god send

edit: ohh and one of the forums I help run, 53% firefox 44% ie : yay

Well, my conputer had a meltdown and a bit of a crisis the other day.

Firefox left my side faster then paris hilton goes down in a hung-a-far fair.

IE on the other hand stayed, waited, smoked some and asked if i needed something.

Sure, firefox is a great lover, but when it comes down to the end of the day, you want to marry IE.

I quite like the new look, it won't have extensions/themes though will it? I think it's still going to be behind Firefox, especially with Firefox 2 on the horizon. Wonder which is coming out first? ;)

Yeah that's it ... I find FF loads almost instantly unless you install a single plugin... then it can take up to 5 seconds for it to load which annoys me :(

I use IE at home, although I do have FF available if I require it.

The main turn-off in FireFox for me is the 10 second delay between clicking the FF icon and having it launch, I cba to wait for it. Without the plugins it just doesnt perform (imo) and with the plugins you get the nasty loadup time. As a web designer I like FireFox, it is nice to design for, but I just cant get into it with that annoying loadup thing.
