Hi

Basically, I want to take the audio output from 2 soundcards and feed it through a micro mixer to one set of speakers. Now:

1 - is a micro mixer the best way to do this?

2 - is it possible to do this with digital output or would I have to use analog and a seperate slider/knob for front and back speakers?

I'm terribly confused, I know very little (read: nothing) about non-pc audio hardware and connections so any help (no matter how patronising :)) is greatly appreciated. For the record (if it matters), both the soundcards are Creative (an SB Live 5.1 and an Audigy 4 Pro) and the sound goes into the back of a Cambridge Soundworks DTT3500 amp.

Thanks

Why not feed the output one soundcard into the line in of the other and then connect the output from that directly to the speakers?

That would work, but it would rely on one computer being on so I could hear things on the other, which I'd rather avoid. :)
