Love him or hate him, he was good for the sport.

But the run in to the end of the season will be a laugh.

Undeniably the greatest F1 Driver of all time. 7 Championship titles, 90 wins and countless podium finishes.

And it could quite easily end up being 8 titles yet with 3 races to go.

Back in the damon hill days I couldn't stand him, but now you have to respect his track record, he's smashed every F1 racing record there is.

Its nice he gets to retire at the top of his game, im sure he could easily go on for a few more years but if he feels now is the time to go, I respect that and wish him well.

It would be a great way to go if he could win his 8th title on the way out though.

well the old blokes had a good run I remember seeing him and damon hill when i was about 3 and my dad tried to train me to love F1 (didn't work)
