I am looking to buy a new mouse, my Logitech G500 is getting a bit flaky, the buttons seem a bit spongy and I am just not happy with it. Willing to spend around £50

I thought about just buying like for like but I fancy a change.

I used to buy Razor pretty much exclusively but the last one I had was really bad build quality and it put me off. Have they upped their game?

A brand I have never heard of but getting seemingly good reviews is Sharkoon

Being a tight arse I am tempted, anyone had any experience with them? Is it just made in China junk?

I have a Razer Deathadder (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-043-RA)

It works very well, looks pretty and I haven't had any problems with build quality :)

Good reviews or no, that Sharkoon looks a bit chunky and kidd-y. The reviews are good and they talk about macros and things, plus being able to adjust the weight ? ... Personally that sort of thing never did it for me, I'd rather just play :)

Whilst we're here, could we talk mousemats ?

I use a Roccat Sense (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-000-RC&groupid=702&catid=32&subcat=) and again, works very well and is nice and big, just wondered what other people use and how they find them? :)

I have a death adder and naga. The death adder felt slippery to hold. I used to have the Logitech M...erm, the one we all had? M60x or something. Anyway that one had a kind of rough surface where your thumb sat so it was easy to move.
