its down at the mo but before refresh button needs hammering a lot
konami fucked up this one in a majore way, publishers dont like much how ms insist on handling everything and make sure its werking fine and has no security issues. thats wots so brillant about xbox live. publishers overall like the sony way where they can prety much do wot they want. this is major game for both konami and sony and whats happened is a fucking major fuck up.

The MGO beat is ONLINE as of today!
I only played 3 games so far but I could only find DM and TDM (got unlucky on the game cycles). I was hoping it would lend itself more to a slower style (similar to the single player games), but it really does seem suited to running and gunning. I could be wrong, since everyone is playing like tards at the moment

Ok, played a tiny bit more.
- CTF (capture the, err, frog) is REALLY good. Haven't managed to try BASE yet. I always found TDM pointless in every shooter, this is no different.
- CQC is actually quite fun. Really satisfying to get someone into a choke and continue choking them while dragging them down to the floor. The good thing is they stay there unconcious quite a while, so they're out of the game (unless someone wakes them).

- Auto aim needs to be taken the fuck out! I doubt they will though.
- SVD = ownage
- Annoying how many people don't bother linking up.
- Now I got used to it, the game is much slower paced than I thought and it feels really good.
- I love the launchers in Groznyj Grad Great map overall, loved the place in MGS3 and love it here.

There's a new map enabled now (midtown madness or something? looks similar to the street gameplay missions we've seen in MGS4 trailers) and also a new gameplay mode, where one player plays as solid snake.
Haven't played the new mode yet (grr) but the new map is really good. I'm loving this more each time I play the game.

new mode being the one where you cap the frog thingie?
yes its fun but with half the team clueless as to wtf is going on
defense needs 1 sniper up on the roofs with 2 map teams one shotteh and other with ak47/m4 you cant lose this. pld it for an hour today no loses
also the shild is immense if you on the team thats gotta cap you can take so many hits with it un real

The new mode is Sneaking Mission. One player is the legendary soldier, Solid Snake. One player is his team mate, playing as Mk II. Everyone else is divided into two teams.
Basically, Snake has to put people to sleep and take their dog tags. He needs to get 3 tags without getting killed. What helps snake is that he has the help of his trusted friend, Mk II, who can stun any normal guy to sleep. He also has Octo Camo, making him literally invisible if he is careful. Also has the Solid Eye to help locate people. Also, snake has SUPERIOR CQC abilities - throwing someone to the floor is an instant knockout. He can also grab and twist your gonads (ouch).
Really it means there are 3 teams, and each can 'win'. I haven't seen Snake win yet, but it was loads of fun. I even got to play as both Snake and Mk II.
