I think you need to look up some population figures because 300 mill looks way too high. Palestine (4 mill), Lebanon (4 mill), Syria (20 mill), Jordan (6 mill), Saudi (27 mill) and Egypt (76 mill). When you also consider that these are not all muslim Arabs (Syria only 80%) and countries like Saudi include all the foreign expat workers with resident visa's, the figures are even lower. Christ even if you include Yemen, Iraq and the gulf countries your still out by 100 mill.

Your point was that 300 million Arab's would rise up and basically kick Israels arse and take back the land some time in the future. Whilst you may get a small percentage in each coutry that would take up arms. Most, in my view would not bother. As I stated before, Arab's in general do not care enough. So, unless the extremist elements take over in every one of the Arab speaking nations your use of these population figures is absolutely incorrect.

This was not Sheik Mo and he would never have done it. His brother is an idiot. It cost the UAE Hotels hundreds of thousands of Dirhams due to when they announced it (31st). Hotels had already purchased drinks, food and booked music etc. Most of the food had to be thrown away. The hotel guests who came from many countries are actively seeking money back, although unlikely to get anything. It was a rash decision and has only served to hurt Dubai's image.

We actually suggested that rather than cancel the events, the Palestinians would be better served if they put a 10% extra tax on all food and beverage for the night. At least some money would have been raised from the festivities.

Average Hotel occupancy rates for March in Dubai 7%. Cancellations up 70%. Polluted beaches and high prices are putting many people off. Alongside the obvious depression in Europe/US. Hamdam really kicked himself in the balls with this one.

I just made the point that Israel is surrounded on all sides by Arab countries that have a population in the region of 300 million and that eventually this will become a factor.

Yes and then the money would have been seized by Israel as terror funding or they would have stopped the aid it would buy at the border of Gaza or better still send it to the arch sell-out in chief Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah instead, exactly where it is needed the least!!
