Can anyone tell me how long the mentalist AOE DoT lasts and also how often it goes off?

My current thinking is 20 seconds every 5 seconds but Classes of Camelot has it as 24 seconds every 4?

ooh I'll ask me menty q here too then. Making light menta with 45 light for hardest nuke. Do I go 24 mana and 17 ment or 29 mana (3rd ae dot) and 6 mentalism

I went for the 45, 29, 6 spec and it works very nicely. The better AOE DOT comes in very handy in keep/wall standoffs were as I rarely mezz the enemy... that's what bards are for.

The baseline DoT is for 20 seconds, but the DoT from the mana line is 24 seconds.

Yup :

Base line DoT is 20 seconds, ticks every 5.
Spec line is 24 seconds, ticks every 4.
Spec Line AOE is .......

Actually shammies have 20 secs ticks every 5 ae dot, but cabs do have the same as ments.
