These are some odds. Obvious Bolt is the fav but im tempted to stick 50p on every other person. If Bolt wins i lose £3.50. But by some miracle he runs shit, potential winning of £125 max. Minimum i can win if Bolt doesn't win is £12.50.

Probably sounds stupid, but Ive a feeling hes gonna mess up ;]

I'm a bit clueless to all of this, but do those odds for Bolt mean you have to stick £100 on him just to get a quid back? :D

you dont really know your betting do you?

The betting agencies have experts and with a price like that, there is a reason.

He wont lose.

Horse racing is of course the exception as its corrupt to fuck and it pretty much is a lottery. Same with the dogs.

Save your money and buy a pint, or a kebab, or a 10% share in Blackburn Rovers

Well obviously you don't aswell.

All betting is a lottery. Look at Man United, call them the Usain Bolt. They didn't beat Newcastle at home. Nothing is 100% certain. Though he is the obvious favourite and probably will win (just like united were), although mistakes always happen. Being lucky is about taking the risks to get lucky in the first place.

lol not on a 100/1 ON it isnt. Tell you what, I will give you the same odds, but you have to bet at least £20? Deal?

United werent 100/1 ON. no football team ever is, but this isnt football, its sprinting which is totally different.

With force majeure always in place, i'd say put a £ on each and every other person.

You NEVER know. Might fall, might f*ck up, might get a bee up his bum. You'd kick yourself if you didn't :D

The best bet would be crawford on an each way bet, as he will be second imo.

But I bet its just win only

Ok, I will double the odds. Deal?

I wouldn't bet £20 on football, never mind a sport i barely know. All i do know is Usain Bolt is the obvious favourite trashing the 100m without a sweat. He is the obvious favourite and will probably win.

Tripple the odds and i may be interested in a low stake ;p

Here is a better bet. Crawford is evens when you bet in the 200m "without" Bolt. That is a great bet imo, and I have just put £50 notes on it with my online laddies account.

The thing with Bolt is, on his other runs, he was slowing down to make a show of it and still beat the WR by some.

Good luck with your bet though! :D

He's 1/100 because if nothing happens to him he'll win the race. However, he could pull a hammy running the bend or something, so i'd say the original bet is worth doing because you never know.

He wont lose.

The experts set the initial odds after that the odds are determined by the distribution of bets. A good bookmaker will break even when the favourite wins and make a profit when he doesn't. In the case of Bolt he is the favourite but the hype surrounding him has made odds silly.

In 100 races there is an extremely good chance he would muck up at least one in which case the 100 / 1 on odds are worth taking. Obviously we have no way of testing this.

Race is starting about now so we will see.
