When you put more memory into your computer do you have to change anything on the settings? because i recently bought abit more another 256mb ram but its saying i only have 128mb ram ive put the new memory in. any suggestions?

Check you have the right sort of memory, check that your motherboard can take the total amount and check whether your motherboard requires certain size sticks in certain slots. If thats all ok take out your original memory and try to boot with just the new bit in.

Yeah mainly check that the have the same type for both sticks

just make sure the 2 sticks are compatiable if they aint then take the smaller one out
