Seconded. Could it be replaced with a link to "Open Buddy List" maybe? It's currently hidden away underneath "Quick Links". Either that or maybe a direct link into Private messages?

afaik it generates rakes of queries & it's only purpose is that it can be farmed by someone wanting to nab the memberlist
