Zerker have better weaponskill then h2h savages, so they hit more,
+ due to getting str as first stats most zerkes have better weaponskil then 2h savs aswell


Zerker swing both weapons each time so they get more swing per rounds then savages and this is pve it i easy to have cel going so zerkers hit cap speed aswell.
in this way zerkers get greater bonus from dmg add, and that is very helpfuls epic mobs

so imo in dmg zerker > savage on these kind of raids

well 2 h is stupid to use against dragon when you got the choice of swinging 2 weapons since most of the dmg is generated from the dmg adds you got not what you hit for.

LA=faster and 2*hits = way more dmg from dmg adds

Thats why i was under the impression Savages were better for these raids, since they hit even faster (usualy) and can quad hit.

Ohh and "if i can come" please only post if your sure you can come. Backups are in the case that something happens on the day and you cant turn up for whatever reason. I hope all in the groups so far are sure they can come

Ok all groups full, you can still apply for backup spots tho if you want. Anyway, i might change around groups a bit, as in move people from G1 to G2 ect... nobody will get kicked from a group tho so dont worry jsut shuffled around.

Chars we have in the groups arent the ideal setup atm, but im sure we can manage. I tried to be as fair as possible taking those who posted first for spots.

Anyway, does anyone have any info on the Dragon, i.e. what things affect her. I rember lots of talk about procs not working and Damage adds making her nuke(allthough i know this aint true), but apperntly she has loads of wierd quirks.


Few extra rules and things: Some of these might change as Im told new stuff


Try to be at West Skona stable merchant at 20:00(gmt) or a little bit before, ill have the cg up. We will move into malmo then and to lair. When we are at lair anyone who is prone to Graphics troubles, relog and turn /effects to self or none. Anyone who is prone to 2h disconnects and other connection things reconnect so we dont have anything happening during the raid.

Bring your buffbots, having the spare rezzers and buffs will be very handy.


Turn off all chat types except for, Chat group chat, Group chat, and Say chat. Changing Say chat to a bright standing out colour will help you notice the dragon AE/PBAE messages. Try not to spam cg/group/say chat with useless stuff too.


Healers: Small heals should be enough, you dont want taking aggro onto yourself, it will happen at least once during the raid but try to minimize it. With pbt and atleast 2healers and a Shaman in each group, the smallest of heals should be enough to keep the person getting hit up. Should someone die in your group have a macro saying "Rezzing: <their name>". Should someone die in another group, wait 5 seconds, if you dont see someone from their group saying in CG they will be rezzed, then go ahead and do it yourself. Im not sure which damage type the Dragons stun was think it was Body. Any aug healers in groups do your Body resist buffs every few mins, just in the case that it does affect her stun. (Pac healers!)Should you die and get rezzed try to pox everyone in the group as fast as possible, as pbt'ers and healers will need it.

Shamans: If a tank in your group dies, give him End regen asap, and be sure to be rebuffing your Cold resist buff and Damage add buffs regulary.

Tanks: Use high to-hit styles. generally Side or Back positional styles have a nice to-hit bonus, so use them.


Dragon stuff:

AE: Everyone really needs to pay attention during the raid, should you see.. "* Gjalpinulva glares at <Your name> and unleashes a horendous blast" immedialtely run away from everyone, as soon as the nuke has hit you get back in.

PBAE: This one can wipe us out pretty easy, should you see "* Gjalpinulva takes in a puff of air, gasps air, or inhales deeply" run away from the dragon immediately, you have about 2 seconds between the message and the pbaoe so you can get out of it or atleast to the edge of it which doesnt do much damage. when shes pbaoed get back at her.

Stun: Your going to get stunned a few times during the raid. Purge will still help here as sometimes she stuns everyone and releases pets, IMPORTANT: if you see pets released, and are stunned purge immediately, forget the dragon, if you have ae mezz spells spam them on the pets, we really need to kill them as they bring back lots of big purples. SHould you be stunned and see your name in the AE message or see the Pbaoe message, purge and run.

Thats all i can think of for the moment. Might have more later. will repeat this all in CG on the day

There is also a sound effect of that, kind of huffing and puffing sound - hear that, run.

One thing I noticed is that Gjalpi tends to instantaneously turn herself 180 degrees right before she looses that aoe blast. Therefore, the safest direction to run in probably either sides or direction the dragon is facing. Worst would be to run behind the dragon. Not sure if she turns herself always but there certainly was a tendency.

It doesnt necessarily have to be aoe. Idea is to aggro -all- those dogs with whatever means available and kill them. We will have craploads of savages there - each savage can autotarget a dog, use taunt shout, then target next dog and attack it

I suggest you bring the 'backup' people as well. Take them along and let them guard the EXITS of the lair.

Guarding the exits is essential. If one of the Retrievers gets out, you're in deep shit. 1 or 2 people on each exit and that problem is solved.
