If he is a mod and the rules state that you cant write stuff like that, why shouldnt he decide that it should be taken away? Who else would decide. Thats what he is a mod for isnt it? I can understand that ur bitter cause you dont like eggy and you had ur differences with him. But trying to use ur anger as an excuse to enforce a yes to enormously stupid replies in grsts thread seems a bit strange to me. What could a remark like that possibly add to a discussion or for anyone benefits then the little twitching geek with friends writing it?
There isnt freedom of speach here....its a discussion forum with rules. Keep within that frame or not...its ur own choise..but dont get suprised when you suffer the consequenses for them...
Ur asking if he have the right to distinguish right from wrong.? First of all yes...he have the right to that opinion as do you, and if its also goes against said rules he is a moderator alowed to take actions against it, and its nothing you or anyone can do about that.
secondly do you really think that such a statement is good?( like the retard comment) if so maybe there is a reason they wanted eggy as moderator and not you if one use common sence you can come along way...

Your post seems more filled with anger than I ever wanted to express with mine, and yours is directed towards a person, not an opinon.

I have nothing against eggy in person, however on this matter I disagree with his opinion which I express, don't be too quick to judge. I also have no wish to become a mod and certainly I don't obejct to eggy being one. This was not to question whenever he should be a mod or not but what responsibilities mods ought to have.

I think we'd have to go back to the core.

Oh which mighty rules? I've read the rules, and there's no specified "no negative replies in grats threads." Eggy however wrote:

If we all could interpretate and bend the rules to our own comfort then well...

So my point is I think that it's out of line what he did. "grats retard adder" Is not really even an offensive comment that would ruin even a splitsecond of anyones day, in case it did I think that it isn't the poster that has issues but the reader. But what if I happened to agree with the poser of this comment (I'm not saying I do.) but eggy would delete the post. I would reply with what I felt if I felt it was appropriate and guess what, eggy might delete that aswell... So do we really want a sweet happyholdinghandsinasocialcircle forum? Not everything is pleasent. I know the comment might not have been of the most intellect kind but it does represent an opinion none the less.

Common sence... well with a tiny bit of common sence you could also choose not to bother about a "grats retard adder" reply, or you could relate to it, should you wish to do so.

I'm overdoing this, but discussions are always good even though they might be over riddiciolous topics.

Hey there m8. yepp sorry made an assumption about you having a "past" with eggy. I seem to remember you from the "fg" discussion that he closed. But not sure ofc. Im not angry and never really will be over a game of daoc. I do get a bit tired of the jumping at the mods cause i have a different view then you about what should be said on this forum. I still like to play daoc, but if its one thing that makes me wanna quit sometimes its seeing the comunity on these boards. The egoism the leetist morons and the teenage geeks filling it with useless shit sometimes instead of benefiting the game(harsh words i know^^). I just dont think some things are necesary. And its the mods that decides what should be there and whats not. Im a guest at their forum...if i dint like it or wanted to use another language or discuss adding days in days out i would create my own forum join something else. thing is the leet geeks cannot handle moving to another forum, cause they are so desperate and sour loosers so they just have to have the oportunity at getting back at whoever added/or defiled their character by killing them, thats why they stay though they detest and hate the rules here...
Why isnt matters like the pettiness here handled in pms....well...cause they thinnk its important to enlighten the rest of us and drag the "adding scum" in the dust before everyone to see and try to whip the leetist mob up against him
Anyways..im happy the mods clean up, cause with a forum having mods that alowed that shit i either wouldnt read it or would move somewhere else...
