eet Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Edgar Wright - the team that brought you Shaun of the Dead - to celebrate the forthcoming release of their new film HOT FUZZ with a series of signing sessions at HMV stores around the country:

- HMV Glasgow, Argyle Street - Monday 5 Feb at 5pm

- HMV Newcastle, Northumberland Street - Tuesday 6 Feb at 5pm

- HMV Manchester, 90 Market Street - Wednesday 7 Feb at 5pm

- HMV Birmingham, High Street - Thursday 8 Feb at 5pm

- HMV Bristol, Cribbs - Friday 9 Feb at 5pm

The team will be at the stores from 5.00 pm to meet fans and sign HOT FUZZ merchandise. The first 20 people in the queue at each signing will get a free cinema ticket to the exclusive HOT FUZZ screening and Q&A session that night in the relevant city. One cinema ticket per customer maximum, in person only and non transferable, while stocks last, subject to availability, at participating stores only, winners must be able to attend the screening on the relevant night.

I should get something signed for alerting you. Call it a Pegg Tax.

Please can it not be any part of your anatomy.

Ooh, that's mightly tempting too. Yep, might have to slip out of work early for that as well.

I'm surprised that no one has made a post replying to this saying something like "sure, tell me what size" or "can I have a sample?".

I third that. At least the birmingham HMV will be well represented by FH. Maybe even an impromptu mini-freddybeer... :)

Me and the missus just met Mr Pegg in Manchester. Proper nice fellow he was too. Although the bouncers ushered me along so fast I forgot to grab my bloody Hot Fuzz poster after it was signed! Not so fast I couldn't get a chance to ask Simon for a photo op after the signing though ;) Genuinely top bloke. He even tried to recover my lost poster for me, but alas, someone had pinched it already. Got a photo of him with the missus (not in that way), and a photo of me & the missus with Edgar Wright. Nick Frost managed to evade us though.

Simon Pegg will be appearing on Top Gear on the 18th (Episode 4 of this season). I figured it may as well go in this thread.

I didn't make it and now I'm kicking myself. Heard from a girl who did. Apparently some of them got tickets to a private screening with Simon and Nick. Nick was telling stories without me being there"!" :(

Thats because
Its the moment when the mood of the film totally changes. Its suddenly goes from a fairly serious headfuck plot, to pure comedy again.

Aww, Hot Fuzz isn't out until March 15th over here. I can't wait to see it though, the general opinion is that it's even better than Shaun of the Dead! Which I find hard to believe. Although I can't wait to see Kevin Eldon and Adam Buxton on the big screen. :D

Been rewatching my Spaced DVD's with the audio commentary on, Pegg is a top bloke. :)
