All i'm saying that if you feel like you have the right to flame people cause they annoy you, don't deny others the same cause that's using double standards. I just think you are a hyprocrite yourself in this case cause u started the flame, started calling him an idiot and "cry" when he does it back to you. It's easy to think of stuff to make up your own behaviour afterwards by saying he annoyed you but it doesn't change the fact u started.

Like i said.. there are a lot of ways to ignore someone who annoys you, your way however gives me the strong impression you liked the litte fight between you and Meduza at first but got upset because he used an innocent genderjoke at you. Well.. i have seen you use your gender yourself to in funny ways in more then one post... so why get all upset when someone uses it back at you?? What comes around goes around right?

And, as has been said so many times its unreal, if people are making threats or wishing people dead we take that very seriously.

You're asking me questions that you should be asking yourselves, the question of people being reasonable is a not an easy question to ask, because everybody is differant and you cant trust people to moderate themselves, if they did we wouldnt be needing you.

Seems to me that defamatory comments are taken lightly, in fact the lack of moderation in those areas perhaps encourages it.

And nope I dont have all the answers, and for that reason I dont run any forums...

4) I merely stated a fact which he confirmed himself. Then after his posts about the moderators wanting to date me I asked him "are you really that dumb or is it me?" or whatever.

Lol, this is pathetic. You can't expect mods to see every single post on the boards, it's just not physically possible. He got banned for a reason, and in my opinion, it was a well deserved ban. Sure, there's people out there posting worse stuff, but if people don't report it... you can't whine about it. Heck, I'm on these boards most of the time... and I only see a small percent of the posts. The fact that he's banned is a good thing... shows that the mods are doing their job. Quite stupid that one person getting banned should kick up such a fuss...

Really this discussion is pointless, meduza wasn't even banned because of his agression towards me, but for other reasons afaik. Be angry with me if you want or whatever, not going to spend more time arguing with people I have never seen, never will see, and have no meaning in my life what. so. ever.

It was the mods descision, they stand behind it, period. Argue all you like.

He was given fair warning by PM, he continued to encite, so he got a well deserved ban. Now he's impounding that decision by behaving like a twat through alias account anyway, which to me, says Damini got it spot on.

P.S. I loved the earlier post where someone tried to imply that the moderator responsible for the banning was trying to impress VF, sheesh, you really have no clue.

Must agree... damn i would hate doing a "job" for free for a community like this!

That's a really bad attitude imo. It's not like running to a teacher or something... it's about respect for each other, and rules. If there were no rules on these boards... can you imagine the chaos? As I see it... there's a certain amount of language, comments etc that is tolerated. Seems pretty reasonable to me. <shrug>
