Medievil total war or sudden strike 2?

Both look very good and although I can quite easily afford them both I feel as if I should limit my computer time due to a flailing social life. Which one should I buy?

Sudden Strike 2 is pretty, in an odd sort of way. But I didn't understand it, because every single enemy pleb would annihilate my tanks, before they did anything. And their tanks killed all my men. I think there were tactics I was avoiding.

Thats my three dollar review.

Medievil War may well be an "ok" game, but it's far too slow during the game.

To help eliminate your flailing social life, I would recommend not buying any games and getting out of your house.

yeah I was gonna go for that, buts its difficult as most of my firends keep moving away to work, uni, college, houses of parliment, and I live in a town populated by druggies and boy racers.

I loved Shogun: Total War but haven't got Medievil War yet.

Played through Shogun once. NEVER AGAIN.

I agree that it's not everyone's cup of tea - but I loved it.

OMG Windtalkers?!?! that film was shite beyond beleif, saw it in the US a few months ago. All the Japanese soldiers seem to refuse to fire thier rifles at the US soldiers, they just ran at them with bayonets all the time, conveniently allowing them to be mown down. And that bit where Cage's character, who is wounded, turns around and shoots 3 jap soldiers about 100 meters away with a pistol with 3 perfect shots is just pure comedy!

Medievil total war....first game where I lost 3 hs without realising it. Hell I had Europe to conquer.
