Well malevolencia challenged sycho to a 1vs1 so i accepted in hadrian's wall,first fight i used 2 jambiyas and she basically kicked my ass i only had got her to 40% hp remaining.

So had a rematch used a bastard sword and a jambiya offhand and i won pretty well with 40% hp left was 2 good fights and i must say shes is the toughest enemy i have faced.All you people who say use 2 jambiyas for a merc it would work at rr5 but before no hehe,then again maybe for sbs but not fighter classes.

Topic title says listen to old timer merc maxgirth if you decide to create one (though everyone makes an inf sadly )

1-1 so far malevolencia i hope to fight you again when you want

well both fights were extremely abnormal really, first one you got parried a lot more than normal and even fumbled! second one, you resisted ALL of my debuffs and my snare. both of the fights I feel were not indicative of how it would go normally I think, we definitely need that rematch


[EDIT: oh and also on the same night, a special mention must also go out to Yussef, who now has the honor of being the best paladin I have ever faced, he got me down to 30% life without using any active RAs without a doubt the best any paladin has ever done by a long ways.. (in comparison, last night I ran into a paladin in emain, he even used IP (or maybe was FH I can't tell ) and even so I was at 60% life left when he died). /salute yussef]

she isnt on of the toughest enemys ive faced, she is THE toughest enemy. that bloudy attack spd debuff is what gets me

first fight you fumbled, how often does that happen to you?

second fight, you resisted 3 debuffs *and* a snare.. I can tell you how often that has happened before, NEVER in all the time I've been rvring, most I've ever seen before was 2 being resisted, and those incidents were few and far between

[EDIT: anyone know what the chance to resist a spell altogether is? it can't be more than like 10% or something... (and no, the amount of resists you have to that dmg type does not affect your chance of completely ressisting it, the casters spec lvl in the spell compared to yur own lvl afects it, but I don'tknow what the base cahnce is still..) if so, chance of resisting all 4 is (1/10)^4 or 0.01%. If you don't think that the fact all 4 were resisted when you have a chance of about 0.01% of it happening matt then well... ]

Well i don't hardly use 2 jambiyas against a fighter class you can see why and i have a fair amount of resists with both my lv50s.

Having beaten beserk the day before i am sure you wasn't expecting a easy battle

I beat Malevolencia with Thorn that made me happy for quite a few hours, even though I did have to kite after she used IP on me

anyway he's semi-retired-tailoring-makingcash-for 100% guarded rapier-and 100% 102af padded leather- whilst I play Elise now :d

Hehe was fun fights ^^, I might be able to win if we use active RA's because I do well in long fights with twisting

well, yes you are.. but I can't remember ever being in a 1 vs 1 with any other mercs so far, there's so few of em, and I only see them in teh zerg(tm) mostly

A few months ago, at a battle for Dun Crauchon, little Luri Malevolencia and I had a spontaneous duel a bit aside from the main force. You won pretty good but I think I got shot by a ranger as well, plus my dirty trick was not ready at the time and I'm just a measly RR2 person with shitty RAs.

It was FA2 (<-- had to be used cos of dragonfang grrrr), and it was a considered risk by me to sit down after you kited away. However I felt I had nothing to lose, I saw 2 albs go walking by, I figured I would risk sitting even tho I knew you were there, as I was going to log and fancied getting full life before trying to kill the two albs, of course you did PA me while sitting so I died, but it was worth the risk imo.

Oh and under normal conditions, I *don't* sit down 10 meters away from where an infil has attacked me I'm not quite that dim

yep I remembered that, but as you said, there was a ranger who started shooting part way through, so it wasn't a 1v1 really.

had an incident like that recently at amg in odin's. I attacked a yellow con polearmsman (he wasn't 50 I'm 99% sure of). anyways fight went like this:

i)I fully debuffed + 1 DD him
ii)he hit me for 270 damage
iii) I hit him for 350~ damage (without any stun)
iv) I hit him for 350~ damage (without any stun)
v) I hit him for 350~ damage (without any stun)
vi) he hit me for 250~ damage
vii) I hit again for about 300+, he died


so basically after debuff, I was hitting him twice as fast and for more damage per hit.. poor gimped arsmen

uhm, it began with an M.. I think (sorry I'm really bad with names sometimes..). Anyway he wasn't 50 cos epic armour gives lots of crush resists (more than the natural negatives on plate) and I was getting a small +on my dmg (hit 350(+3) kinda stuff)

oki, just did a search on duskwave for armsmen lvl 46-50 with M in their name.. found him (I think), he's a guy called Milithiel, lvl 46 only (as expected, but my point was about attack speed not the actual damages done)

yes i agree i never complained i am just saying the spd debuff is bad for me because my weapon speed is 5.9 then that debuff makes it about another 10 seconds to even swing again.
