Mass SMS Sending

Hi! I'm looking for a little program that can import a contact list (in the form of an excel spreadsheet) and send the same message to all the numbers in said contact list. I basically want to send everyone a message saying "my new number is x" and I really can't be dealing with the longwinded way...

Your phone doesnt have a send to all, or the ability to add multiple recipients?

Well, yes it does... But that would mean spending money and I'd rather send them from my computer for no money...

There are many ways of doin summin like this.

With Sony Ericsons there is a program called XTNDConnect which can import conatcts into outlook using a bluetooth serial port connection.

Also you could use floats mobile agent if you've got a T630-T628..

I sue it and its brill..

FMA @ Sourceforge ITs a great proggy can use it to send sms from comp and make voice calls using ur computers speakers and microphone.

Dunno if thats any help.

same problem...

nextel only lets you do 20 SMS distribution...and the worst part is, it only gets delivered to the nextel customers!!
Does anyone know of some software I can buy that will let me text my whole phone book??

You know, the nicest way to do this is simply to ring each person and tell them. Text the ones who you don't talk to that much.

FMA would allow him to send the SMS from his PC, however FMA uses the phone in order to send the text so he'd still get stung on his phone bill.

My point exactly, I actually would ring maybe 100 of my numbers..the rest I want to send a text too...is there any piece of software to do this? I found something called atomic IM, but the problem is that is cost A LOT of $, and charges per text message....

You mean you didn't get any free texts with your price plan? I get 1000 a month with mine.....
