Reason was basically the CEO's background, you can read about it here... the guy this person is talking about is the CEO of Gazillion.

I doubt it would take them 4 years to act.

They probably shut it down because it was a waste of money to them. I mean, why would they pay for a handful of people to play that when they can ream people with the help of EA?

Apparently the microtransactions still work though, DLC And heroes.

Shame really, was a fun little game you could drop in and out of.

Sad but not surprising in any way whatsoever. The latest skill revamp was an utter disaster that dumbed down the gameplay so much that it just stopped being entertaining.. And the worst part is that almost NOONE wanted those skill changes. But the bosses at GAZ thought they knew better...

I seriously feel for the people that actually worked on this game. They did so not deserve this.
