Well, Spurs are 4th in the table. ABOVE Arsenal.
You don't get 4th place for nothing.
Love em or hate em, the facts speak for themselves.
Spurs have gone some major talent (Robinson, Lennon) and have managed to hold onto 4th place. Did Bolton. Reckon we're turn West Ham over too.

I think Jol has done a great job.

And the players he has signed have been mainly young english talent.

Lennon has really impressed me this year, and could be a late call up for the England squad.

I hope they get 4th as they deserve it imo.

They are playing more as a team rather than skilled individuals, it always seems that the Spurs fans were happy aslong as they tried to make it look sexy. Now they have a great squad and a good setup things can only get better surely.

May turn West Ham over but thats becuase most of our best players will be rested for that little known match aka the FA cup Final xD

Spurs home games so quiet compaired to other teams home games. What Martin needs to do is give the home fans some Megaphones so they can be heard above the away supporters ¬¬ !

Wish that Spurs hadn't taken Michael Dawson, but I guess he had to go to play at a higher level. Always the way though at the City Ground though lately. Produce some great young talent and had to watch them leave.

Michael Dawson
Andy Reid
Jermaine Jenas
David Prutton
Marlon Harewood

If only they could have stayed at the City Ground. Oh well.

He has done a good job with a very average team.

He's done a good job yes. But saying that Spurs pwnz0r Arsenal teh shift one one one is a little over-rated.

Arsenal had an incredibly bad spell, as did Man Utd. I still rate Arsenal above Spurs, look who's in the Champion's League final ;)

To do well for a season is good, but the biggest test is to maintain it for a second or more. I will say one thing that spurs have over Arsenal is that they have a bunch of youngsters that will get better and probably don't nee as much building to do. Arsenal have a few older players and need to do a little rebuilding despite a good season in the farce that is the Champions League.

(Yes, I do not like the way that the Champions League is now.)

Spurs are playing better football this season and it might be Jol. Even a spurs fan must see the beauty in Spurs finishing forth and Arsenal winning the Camps League and taking the spot :p how perfect would that be :)

Almost makes up for cheating and robbing us at Highbury :)

If Arsenal win the Champions League and Spurs get the fourth spot in the league then I wouldn't be too surprised if they did the same as last year with the Liverpool and Everton situation. Everton got fourth and qualified as per the standard rules and got came in at a later qualifier Liverpool had to work their way through from the earlier qualifiers.

Hmm, wouldn't that be odd though? Last season two local rivals In the form of Everton and Liverpool in dispute about the fourth Champions League spot and the potential for the same this year with Arsenal and Tottenham.

Still, I don't like the Champions League anymore, it's turned in to a bit of a farce in my view. I would like the team I follow in it of course, but for me both the European competitions have lost a little bit of meaning to me.

It has already been said if a team wins the comp but are not in a qualifying position they knock the team from the lowest qualifying position out of the cup. So if Arsenal finish 5th we will know spurs out. It was decided as soon as it happened last year.

I think Spurs have even tried to challenge this just incase.

Another reason not to like the choices made over the Champions League. It has become a farce and in my view they should remove the word "Champions" from the competition. It's no longer just about the Champions of each country any more. I think the old way of the Champions of a country going in to the European Cup, second place getting a position in the UEFA Cup and the winners of the national cup getting in to the Cup Winners Cup was still the way to go.

I saw Spurs when they came to Villa Park in the first few weeks of the season. We drew 2-2 and I said then that they would finish in top 5. Very good side and Jol has got them playing some lovely stuff at times. They do need to add a couple of real top quality players before they can step up to being a top 3 side, but they are certainly on the right track. Will be interesting to see how they go next season.
