Won't know till after dinnertime as my friend won't get confirmation till then that the ticket is available. His cousin is working in Glasgow and won't know if he can make it back in time until after lunch as his boss won't let him finish early unless the job is ahead of shedule. Tis all a bit of a farce to be honest but who I am to complain, free ticket and all.

We usually do Sam Platt's but The Quayhouse is on the way so I shall make a quick diversion, if you see a fatter/taller/younger version of Tom Cruise walking towards you then you know it is me! Anyway fingers crossed, not made a game this season and now we are out of the Carling cup it doesn't look like I will unless my friend comes through on this ticket a bit more often.

Just got back. Big soz Chodax if you went to the quayhouse. Our coach broke down so had to wait for a replacement, then when we hit the m6 there had been an accident and we were at a standstil just outside preston. We crawled along for 30 minutes, moving about 100 meters, when our crazy irish coach driver had enough and proceeded to fly down the hard shoulder lol. So we just got there in time for kick off.

Everton were useless, Beattie needs to go now. Richardson looked Utds most dangerous player. He looks like hes gonna be a cracker. Oh, and there is a rumour doing the rounds about a certain utd players sexuality and that hes seeing a certain male pop star!

Didn't get to go bud Was pissed about all day, basically the guy said if he could leave Glasgow by 4.30pm he was going, if not he would ring us and we could collect the ticket from his house on the way to match. The **** rings his my friend his cousin at 6.00pm and says he is at Carlisle services by which time we are already in the pub waiting on the call for 90mins. I know he was doing me a favour and you would think common courtesy applies but no apology for leaving the call so late and keeping me on tenderhooks all day, just some bullshit about no signal on his mobile till he hit Carlisle, as if they don't have mobile phone base stations in Scotland.

Bleh, wasted night.

Stupid rumours that Man U were going to sign Torres in January was never going to happen. If they sign him it will be next summer.

IIRC he went there on loan from Real Madrid at the time, had a fairly impressive first season (was a demon at free kicks, similar to what he did the other week at west ham), but Chelsea signed him after his loan finished.

Seriously though, Boulharouz is 'ok' at right back, but doesn't really fit the bill for the diamond midfield, he lacks the pace needed to get up the wings to fly in the balls. Ferreira i don't really like, but he's similar to Geremi, just not as good.

Potentially 4 players competing for 1 position, it's getting pretty grim
