The dude is a suspect, not necessarily the killer, and great, you found someone on myspace with the same name as that bloke? must be him then. :/
(can't check myspace site so can't see what's on it)

Anyway, the dude should never have been named untill it's absolutely certain he's infact the killer.
You know, sometimes police also deliberately detains an innocent to lure out the real perpetrator. You don't know who you're talking about and you don't know the inside information on the case.
It wouldn't be the first life ruined because of these misaccusations, so don't start naming and shaming yet.

Besides, even if it's the correct bloke, it's not your business. It's the business of him, the victims family and the police.

What if the police is wrong, the dude will still have to live with the stigma, the namecalling etc for the rest of his life. Now he's named and shamed etc you cannot undo that anymore. Relaying information is wrong if that particular information should have never seen the light of day to begin with.
