Ask some of the sages in Volcanus Haven. They can tell you what mobs have the highest chance to drop em.

Malice 3 of 3 drops from Setau, Ausar and Sahathor (sp?) Siam-He priests.

The apprentice sages in the havens will tell you which mobs drop which scroll.

They drop off virtually anything red/purp in the area, but the listed Siam-He's have a better chance of dropping it.

I farmed this and other scrolls in typhons for a long time after the patch.

Farming Taur Guardians, who's designated drop is MT 1/3, i would guess the rate of this scroll drop to Malice 3/3 is appx 10-1. Drop rates of the designated MT 1/3 to random scrolls was about 5 randoms to every 1 MT 1/3.

Take the number of random scrolls available and you get some idea why it's significantly better to farm the sdesignated mobs.

This was roughly the rule with most scrolls i farmed. It is not exact and sometimes it seems way off, but over time this seemed to be a realistic rate.
