Making use of the site header?

Short on webpage space? My site is messy and has too many links all over the damn thing. I wanted to put some extra items on. Maybe a newscroller so finally came up with this solution as I couldn't really find the room for it as the site is now. I incorporated an iframe that displays a file containing a background png image of the same colour as the rest of the header and with the site name added into the template page of my Joomla site. You can ofcourse do this to any site using any script I should think. Then I created 2 more files one with a scroller script embedded. The other a simple text file. A small animated gif shows when the scroller is being shown (displayed in a div so that it remains static whilst the rest of the page scrolls). You can simply choose to manually view the news or to have it display peacemeal using the scroller (links simply target the iframe). Not a bad way to make use of the header I reckon. It can be set to scroll on page load or made to be whatever you want. Just view my home page and take a look under the top left Site name.
