so i have come to the end of a most extraordinary week. met a great person, been pissed, shared joints with a 59 yr old indian lady and on the spur of the moment my friends and i decided last night to drive out of town and go camping.

and today i come home to find my grandmother has had a heart attack. currently in hospital with a blood sugar level somewhere over 60.

it made me realise how important it is to live for the moment, because tomorrow it could all be over.

I hope she has a speedy recovery :-(

It is also so true about living for the moment, I moved a suitcase from my grans attic last week and found loads of stuff from when I was aged 15 onwards, lots of old photos of us camping, on mad bike rides and when I was a Holiday Rep.

Made me sit and really think about where I was going with my current lifestyle, I have cut down alot on the amount of time sat in my games room playing video games and started to go out and do shit that I used to love, Football, Golf a game of Poker down at the local. It is hard to balance doing everything you love though with having to make a living and pay all the bills aswell :p

Its the only way, life is shit but must be balance.

It seems this world isn't made for happy people. Think what we could do if we had no issuses with each other.

As I used to say to my mum when she complained about me smoking - you could get knocked over by a bus tomorrow.

Live your life as if every day is your last, because one day it will be (stolen from another forum but so true).

PS Best wishes to your Gran Tris.

aye its true, live to make yourself happy, dont live according to how others think you should live.

and dont be scared to do new things, you'll miss out on so much if you never try anything new.

and as this is something i believe in strongly i shall be ordering a banjo as soon as i find a 5 string resonator that i can afford
