Too short, lacking features, trying to ripp you off with DLC released less than a week after the main game. don't buy it full price, teach the devs and publishers a lesson. I really regret buying mine at release, I'm refusing to buy the DLC as they released a half hearted unfinished game. The first mafia was epic, this is meh.

Honestly it's a little short but it is amazing.

I was driving in my car and an awesome song was on the car radio so I waited till it finished to get out etc :p

Did people bitch about MGS1 being 10hrs etc? It was still win.

It _isn't_ a mafia GTA, so I dunno why peoples expectations are that it is.

I did buy the DLC ( and I rarely buy games let alone DLC ), and it feels like all the side mission shit should have been in the main game ( and would have taken it from the whine it's getting to 10/10 /cumshot ).

If you enjoy the eras music, and enjoy the attention to detail then you'll love it - if you don't really like the music/cars/care about the game engine being fucking amazing/etc - then don't bother you'll be dissapointed.

That's what's pissed me off though ECA, I expected those side missions for a £30 retail game. I'm not paying £6 more to get something that was obviously ready at the same time and could have been packaged with the game. I don't want it to be GTA, but I want some sense of purpose outside the main story. The whole city they create is wasted because you can't do anything with it.

seems to be a trend with game designers these days.. i blame shit stains on the arse of humanity like steam(ing pile of shit) steam is what started all this "ooo lets sell DLC on every single game we release" bollocks.

Don't be silly Blood Omen, Steam is simply digital distribution. DLC started with MMO's and then found its way on to next gen consoles next.

Can you explain why Steam is shit?

because they use it to push DLC out in bulk admittedly there was DLC before steam appeared for some games but after steam appeared more and more DLC because they knew they could sell it like crazy just like PSN (playstation network on the PS3 or the xbox 360 equiv) all to blame for DLC end of the day game companies wonder why so many people download games illegally rather than buy them when they pull shit like this.

Again, I think you are blaming the wrong thing. DLC is just another way of selling expansions, these were round long before. It was MMO's that really spawned the whole buy extra shit even though you already paid mantra.

Steam did not spark more DLC, think you are just linking the two because DLC has become more prevailant along with the rise of Steam.

in either case, bottom line designers are getting more greedy year by year.

I kinda like steam with their weekend deals. Bought quite a few nice games from them with 66%+ discount, and dl 1.5gb in less than 1 hour is ok aswell.
