pls tell me why we've been cut down by stealther teams all over emain lots of times

im not on any ones side here but..

The Radar does NOT show a stealther when they are in stealth according to some thread a looooooooong time ago that some idiot mucked up with the pic and u could go into the properties and find the site

it lets you alt tab.. mebbe daoc unleashed does aswell..

Well I cant say for sure since I never tried those works of the devil, but the guy who made the article I read seemed to know what he was saying.... maybe its a 'feature' of a newer version or something lame like that, i donno. but tapping stealth is still foolish, because he reveals himself, and then he can never say for certain that she cheats. and IF the radar does not spot stealthers, then why is it that stealthers whine? becaues if it doesnt spot stealthers, and she would see some stealther pop up and then dissapear on some radar.. well... good luck finding that stealther I say. Its close to impossible. To stand a decent chance u need to either be at a point where u know they will pass, or be around 3 sec run away. Still your chances are small when you arent an assassin urself.

The server does not transmit the positions of stealthers until they're within your range. Thus a 'radar' would only show you a stealther if they were within detection range already anyway. Might mean that you saw someone instantly instead of waiting for the next stealth detect to pulse (it's a 3sec pulsing effect), but it wouldn't let you /face a stealther from 3 miles away...

imho the best way. if sshe is innocent she goes free, if guilty, she goes down.

btw, in any game where someone shows more skill then the pack, he/she will get acused for cheating.

rofl, there is no skill in this game. its not a skillful game to play. a skald cant be any better than another skald (unless the person playing has no arms or eyes).

skillful games are things like counter strike, uo (pvp), quake, most of the FPS's. but all daoc is, is who has the better class wins. its not like you have to aim with your mouse, strafe, jump etc, you just press F8, press a couple of number keys when facing the right direction, and either win or lose.

anyways, ofcourse there isnt much skill in this game it obvious, but saying that there is none at all is complete bullox. Madeleine is better than the average player and the best skald Ive been with by far. Only skald that have impressed me as much in soloing/small grouping is deathwish dan for his knowledge of knowing hib/alb behaviour very nicely in the early days of emain scrimish.

so karam, pack away ur little ugly toothpick and start crying coz madeleine is better at daoc than u, and since the game requries no skill at all, I guess we can conclude that u are left behind with no arms or legs.

Well last week that guy told me this

He unstealthed for 2 sec in her back behind a Tree, she turned arround and came checking that tree as she was 100% sure there was someone.

Didnt really believed it coz that would be too funny and very stupid of her but now censi also telling a similar storry... well can't be a coincidence.

btw, i heard it can be traced so no worries

yup karam, in your case, im sure u cant do much more then nearest target - combat mode - stick, if u had some brains u would maybe gank healers and casters first but we all know its to much to ask for.

seriously though, Daoc for me is more about achieving stuff with your guild than farming for RP. I get the most out of the game when Im playing with the guild.... DAOC is a lot more chilled out than the other games you mention Karam, and I think a lot better.

Counterstrike, hacked to bits.......gr8 game ruined.
UO hacked to bits....... fecked econmics, where 50% of the community carry checks for 20million GP. (not to much skill in UO either, its based around maximising your Connection)

I run solo in emain quite alot and as a speed user it is really easy to remain unseen and to observe enemies. Many of the non stealthing players use other tactics to remain unseen - ever wondered why Veeshand wore the particular dye's she did?

Naturally I have run into Madeleine a number of times, never once has she done anything out of the ordinary. When I am watching her from higher ground or behind a tree, she never gets me. If she spots me - I tend to be finished rather quick.

I have been in zergs that have killed her, I have watched her scavenge from the back of the zerg. I sincerely doubt she is a cheater, based on my exposure to her game, just a good solo skald like bee.

Maybe being a stealther makes you UBER paranoid, but it is really, really lame to accuse people of cheating without any proof whatsoever.

This is a prime example of witch-hunting.

would post daoc unleashed homepage so all that doesnt know how it works can actually see, but then again, everyone would spend $40 and u know it would end up... tho the site is pretty easy to find in the first place

tho it looks nice and it would be a helpful tool if it didnt show PC's, only NPC etc but then again it doesnt and are as illegal as it can be
