Some of you may have seen the "fake" trailer that aired before planet terror/ death proof ( grindhouse ).

The film then went into production because it was so fucking awesome.

The official trailer got released today.

Yeah the original was better, but still gods damn if that isn't the best group of actors put together since...ever.

It even beats the other what's it's name group with stallone and such.

Been waiting this since i saw planet terror etc, even if it was fake, i knew they couldn't resist doint it.

It's a slow news day for 'em, gets in the punters and it's a thankyouverymuch for the free publicity...

Using someone's intestines as a rope to escape...
Seems like Robert and Quentin have been discussing plot ideas. :)

Still want to go see it.

Download and save your pennies for the Bluray. The film companies make more from you buying a copy than watching it at the cinema anyway so just think of it as an advance preview until you can purchase it at retail. ;)

It's like a movie about a guy, who you don't want to see, but you have to see :D

It's just one of those films that you'll love or hate, and if you hate it, you're a scumbag :D

Seriously; machete!

I prefer my films to generally be a bit more than a gore fest.
Sometimes gore-fests have their place though.
For the record, I've never seen any of the Saw films, Hostel films or any "torture-porn" flicks from the last couple of years. I just don't find them interesting.

Sometimes they do, this one doesn't look to have a valid place though. :) Stuff like this and the Asian gore films are really, really boring.

Machete isn't a gore fest, it's a blaxploitation film - with a mexican, it's an homage to the genre with an awesome cast.

The only thing I got from the trailer was that it was trying to be as brutal and violent as possible, it didn't push anything else at all.

It does have a great cast, I'll give it that. Perhaps De Niro needs some cash to get involved in something like that. A bit odd for him.

That's basically like saying "Inception was just trying to be as artsy as possible".

Well, then again :p

So no worldwide release. Have they learnt nothing about online piracy?

Exactly, no no-fake sources online yet, but it's only the day after release!

I suppose you said the same about Pulp Fiction?

Christ on a stick you're dumb.

Pulp Fiction has violent moments but isn't entirely about just being as violent as possible with nothing else in it. Was Pulp Fiction's trailer 3 minutes of gore and killing and using people intenstines as escape routes?

I don't have an issue with violence, I just find films that are NOTHING BUT VIOLENCE boring.
