Lush grass on the slopes of Mid and Hib TK's

The grass on those slopes must be delicious cos it's keeping all the Alb Llamas up there.

I've just had the dullest BG night ever, droves of Albs running from TK to TK.

I waited patiently at bridges hoping that theyd come back and let the mids come but nope.

I roar with laughter now when I see "Alb chimp was killed my master runey etc"

What a miserable night, and when I do spot a SB I completely miss my pa then fumble, fishi must have thought it was his birthday Sorry that the cleric got u in the end mate, i guess i didnt leave you with enough health to make a getaway.

Ive lost hope in the BG's, they were great before as they were new and everyone wanted a go, inexperienced players along with pro's, masses of people in small areas all looking for great fights.

Now, however, its just become another zone, a continuation of 'real' RvR in which nobody wants to loose anymore and will guarantee this at any cost. The main problem is that its not individuals, its a change in the masses and you cant really control or change that.

Might as well start thinking up new tactics to own the campers even more (being a hib, we rarely have enough people to be the campers, so look out for me when i and my friends are effortlessly nuking you from the safety of our TK).

with my ranger this is a bad thing, it means that while i can get past the campers, there's nobody to kill that isnt with another 40 people only assassins, and i tend to get eaten by those.

with my minstrel however this istn a problem, i find most assassins prefer soloing just the same as i do, so i can get past the pk camper zerg easy adn just hunt solo in the rest of the zone, lots of shadowbaldes attacking me, damn good fun

would be hell for a caster though

the solution

there is another thread which covers this topic

and the solution is simple

do not rezz any1 on the slopes of a TK

healers, bards, druids, wardens, friar, clerics, shamen, and any other class that can rezz that i forgot

DO NOT REZZ tk campers, i guarantee that after a week of this

"need rezz at tk please"
"release mate, im not coming to rezz you there"

a single week of this, if 75% of healing classes did it, you would see a huge reduction of camping

i have not given up hope on BGs, Mack has had a riotous time there.....the best times though, it is true, is when there is a strong personality who takes control of the dominant force (atm albs) and /yells /suggests /orders them back from the tk to the bridge after each battle.

this is what I and the middies did when we took the keep a coupla weeks ago, and i remember those few days with great fondness, it literally was battle, after battle, after battle across the alb bridge and hib bridge, we ping ponged between both, as different pots and the re rezzed attackers attacked us.

it was, and still can be great.

the healing classes really do hold the key on this subject. they have the power to stop tk camping.

LoL u dont see the problem here, its not the camping its amount of ppl...

When I type /who thidranki i get like 40 ppl but there is only 8 mids and/or 8 hibs around. So you understand many ppl are bored and go camp tk.

Another stupid thing that i dont understand, the realm who has the keep has very many ppl in thidranki at all time.
So i dont understand what kind of stupid ppl go to thidranki just cause their realm got the keep?

When hibs had the keep u could see groups of 20-30 hibs running around, now barley more than 10 in a group. Same goes with mids.

Albs got always like 20 ppl in thidranki but now when we got the keep there r up to 50 albs there rofl. So albs if u bored just give away the keep and dont take it back...

Been in thidranki for 2 days when we had the keep and those was the most boring ones, capped thid with almost 400 rl points tho, so cant come back anymore hehe

Nothing better than fighting on a bridge that has that lovely green banner up and that ugly firbolg guard standing next to it...

Well, i for one wont ress and ill try to discourage others too but it really does depend on who has the keep, if its mids or hibs then all the posts are 'wooo this rocks, i loved that fight I had with xxxx, ill see you later mate and great tactics realm X, you completely owned us!' But whenever its the albs, less mids and hibs turn up, more albs turn up, camping starts and the posts are more like 'Oh dear god, the world is over, BG's suck' (for a good example of this, look at my previous post on this thread, im such a sheep...).

Basically what im trying to say (in yet another of my mixed up posts) is it'll get better, it always does. Yeah it would be nice to stop TK camping all together but i cant see it ever happening.

yes, i also cannot explain why the number of people on the realm that owns the keep magically doubles. it seems alot of players have a few days of adrenalin and BG "love" afetr a succesful raid. meaning the conquerors always have more than the ousted realm.

trust me, i do understand the problem, and no, you wont eradicate TK camping, but if the healers, and the thid cg/group/army leaders take a bit of control, you can stop tk camping, or at the very least drastically reduce it.

sure.........the dominant realm at that time, are scratching around for new enemies...........but once you have sighted mids or hibs or albs at the tk.

DONT STAND THERE ON THE SLOPES!!! back off to the castle, and have an awesome battle on the bridge and the road.

go on! you know it makes sense!

I don't mind when us Albs chase the Mids/Hibs back to their portal keep and maybe stay say 30 seconds to 2 minutes. After that then its camping. I usually would chase them back and once they up the hill I normally run back tot he bridge.
