Then perhaps they'll ban players such as Monkeyarse Face, Pwnage (seen a load of these) and about 1,000,000 more stupid names... I remember seeing Lurikeen running around in Yggdra a long time ago, and she gave me a shock, but I found it funny... everyone else who was with me did - and if you think about it, when you click on an enemy in RvR, it displays their name in your message box.

The thing about this aint that Goa made wrong to change his name..

If Kemor had seen ExLurikeen and told him damn that name aint a good one blablabla .. Ok fair enu..

But the lame part is that, xxx reported his name bcoz he didnt like the name or the person himself. He said it had killed his group many time as the caster/healer keept cast spells on a member of Your realm.. Thing is this xxx that reported him have he even been out in rvr last weeks well i havent seen him online, can be on a alt tho i dont know ..

Goa made right it was against the rules, but they dont care about it aslong as someone not report it.
And this report is the lamest thing i ever seen in daoc ..

Still im not a friend of Lurikeen dont even know him..

So, do I get this straight. If "Lurikeen Invader" is wrong because it *may* fool someone to think you're an enemy, it is also illegal, and you may get banned, if you stealth up, sneak behind someone and "/yell something in a language you don't understand."? I remember freaking out some people in the early days that way.. running around looking for that enemy stealther..




I think it's all really silly, but I can say I agreed with GOA in changing that name, allthough it's all questionable, it's a debate for GOA to settle.

Talking about bad names and CoC... yesterday I saw,

1) Fockface <Shadowbreed> the level 9 Armsman in Tomb of Mithra

I dont agree on the name change, but GOA not enforcing there own rules before someone whines about them sucks even harder. Altough they might add that Luri as a mid is named as a hib char would make things worse but reading the CoC it's not any different then being named highlander. Feel sorry for you luri.

not to defend any of these, those ppl are named after (their mom? :| ) races in their own realm, the problem with Luri was that some people (including myself a single time) mistook Lurikeen for a real lurikeen.
