LPB's in 56k only

Is there anyway of removing LPB players from the BW 56k only server? They seem 2 come in then just refuse 2 leave even after everyones protests. Voting doesn't seem 2 work.

When in the jolt hpb server if an lpb comes in they get kicked for a low ping.

Why don't you get a plug-in for AdminMod that can do it, like Jolt has?

Votings disabled, adminmod is resource hungry, and as far as I know we can just add it to one server on a box. BW already uses clanmod (?) to run CS gaurd.

2. Chances of having a response from an active admin on #bwadmins are very slim. (i spent almost an hour in #bwadmins on Sat only to get admins' scripts displaying where they were playing)

3. Is there any way you could add a script to the server that kicks anyone with a ping < 120 ?

I dont really see what the point is in telling me to switch to different servers if I already told you that I wont.

If someone is not satisfied with how NHS is performing you dont just tell him to shut up and fuck off to Bupa, do you?

I dont play on Jolt servers because I do not want to have C-D running in the background every time I want to play and the best pings I get from UK servers are on BW, not on Jolt.

Voting doesnt work - its disabled.

I understand that admins can be away/busy etc and that they dont get paid for doing their job, but their performance isnt good enough. Maybe its because there arent enough of them to be able to respond not even 24/7 but atleast 8/7?

Yes, lets ignore the fact that human reaction time is 0.2 secs, ping of 250ms is 0.25 secs and ping of 50 is 0.05 secs. Difference between the two pings is roughly human reaction time.

Okay puma, give it a rest. He clearly meant that such a script is avialable, not that you should play on Jolt. That is as clear as day.

I have also said many times -although no one appears to be listnening - that the said script requires admin mod, which BW do NOT use. Infact I said it in the 4th reply of this topic, but I guess you didnt understand my reply as you didnt understand Cyph3rs.

What have you got against people with 3 in their names?

It does seem that the voting does work a lpber came in the other night and his whole team voted him off and the lpb goon was then removed
So it obviously does work but needs everyone 2 get there asses in gear with the voting.

And btw every time I've asked for a CS admin one has poped in the server shortly after me asking. I do what they ask state game, server and reason for needing an admin .

Voting is disabled and has been for donkeys years...

I often play on the 56k server to keep it free of LPBs and I enjoy playing with those of equal ping. Anyone trying to argue a low ping ISN'T a huge advantage needs to go do some research (Soul ). I will always respond to a call to rid the server of LPBs if I see 1. Having said that, with ADSL being installed next Wednesday for me, I will be a LPB myself (personal dream finally fulfilled ) so will not be on that server anymore. I will continue to keep it LPB free as best I can, cuz I know all to well what being a HPB is all about .
