Played this game at release, maxed every beneficial trait (yay killed like 15,000 worgans, bears, wolves, trees and ogres ftw) at level 50 on my champion and was a pretty uber character, then there was nothing to do PvP was a complete joke and the only high end pve content we cleared in a day

Also this free thing has huge restrictions, sure you can find em somewhere and you're pretty much forced to pay "turbine points" to keep playing with stuff to do I think

Aye theres like 3 levels of account basicly the totally free 1 which you're limited to like 10gold and 2 bags or something, second one is 3 bags and 20-50g or something like that and the full unlocked account (which you have to pay for) is pretty much unlimited gold + 5-6 bags...

I think I will just have to play it and decide for myself, and just ask anyone who grouped with me in daoc I was about as much use in RVR as a baby seat on a unicycle so that's not really an issue for me lol.

I thought the game was utter shit and I wouldn't cross the road to piss on its designer if he/she was on fire.

My wife on the other hand thought the game was brill and shes looking forward to the free-to-play thing.

you do indeed get to stab things! and if you play a hobbit you can even enjoy their fat little round bellies that wobble around as you run.

I played it for a few weeks on release, it was ok, even fun in parts, but I agree, there was nothing to do once you are done with PvE. I don't know whether things have changed since as I haven't bothered keeping up with the game news.

See the expansions...some of it ripped TOA, but in a more pleasant way of grinding weaps but not armor. Not tryed Seige of Mirkwood yet. As for the free play, that means I won't even be able to play my hunter neither as I have 50g on him rofl.

Doubt they'd prevent you from playing it, what they would do is probably prevent you from earning more gold until you get below the cap.

If this game was any good id pay the lifetime sub and play it but its not ... so i wont
