Hurley & Libby was becoming one of the stronger sub-plots. I expect she'll survive and continue with her demented plans of leading Hurley deep into the jungle, where his screams won't be heard. Before Hurley knows what's happening, he'll be tied up to the trees and Libby will whip him, repeatedly, for days.

It would be completely retarded if she lives. She's been shot twice in the gut on an island with one doctor and a handful of antibiotics. What's more, I'd think the blanket is more likely to cause her harm, by getting into the wound and giving her a nasty big infection.

More likely that she'll manage to live through the next episode only to croak, "Micheal did it.... Uuuuuugh *dead*" to a weeping Hurley at the end.

just seen this weeks ep

the point at which she gave him the gun and he said "they are animals" gave it all away for me, as before he said the others were "worse off than we we are" shame he killed the copper tho. one more thing is henry the leader or somat as he told the woman the "he is great man but an unforgiving man" might have been talking of him self

Not really. Saieed may be able to repair the cameras/televisions so we can see what else is going on around the island. Plus, theres a chance that Michael's actions were recorded.

The second hatch is critcal. Pressing the button started off as an experiment that was watched from the new hatch (Maybe?).

When something happened on the island it seems the participants who were pushing the button were never relieved and as more and more people crashed on the island they would tell them to push the button and then bugger off. Leaving the new person to scared not to push the button.

No doubt the accident that caused this prolonged button pressing extravaganza is in some way also responsible for attracting so many craft to the island. Electromagnatism type stuff.

Either that or they've all gone back in time and the guy with the beard is really Jeremy Beadle. Anyone notice if he had a tiny hand? ;)

Doubt he'll have been recorded; the whole "write on pads and send through tubes" thing kind of indicates they don't have automatic recording; not surprising really, can you imagine how many VHS tapes they would have needed since 1980? :).

It struck me that the 'experiment' isn't about the button pushers, its about the actions of the people in the monitoring station...

What a fucking shit episode, I'm getting very fucked off with Lost now and it's got to the point that I'd really rather just stop watching it all together. But I won't.

I still love the show but it really needs to start delivering a few answers soon or people will start switching off. They spend much of the episodes tying the characters back stories together but there doesn't seem to be any point to it. For instance....

They have linked the story of Jack's dad together with Sawyer and Anna being in Austrialia or what they did there but what is the point if none of the main characters is ever going to find out. Anna is dead so she can't tell Jack and no one else knows so who is going to tell him that he has a sister? It just seemed like another way to pad out an episode, there are lots more instances of this but I can't be arsed to go further.

Btw, I reckon that Jack's sister will turn out to be Claire, the woman Jack's dad was shouting at was old enough to be Claire's mum, she was also blonde and Austrialian.

I don't think all of the interconnections are supposed to be explained. I think it's more of the fact that there are lots of connections that is point.

I liked Walt saying "They're not who they seem. They're pretending"

Reinforces my thought that it's all some charade

Yep, the island is some kind of experiment gone wrong, I think the island itself is having some kind of physotropic (sp?) effect on the surviors and the 'vaccine' stops the effect. Would explain how 'The Others' seem uneffected and how Charlie was logical enough to ditch the heroin after he injected himself with the vaccine. It would explain alot of things and the experiment would also explain alot of other stuff like the polar bear, the hatches, the black horse etc.

I am probably miles off though, roll on season 3 and more questions without answers ;)

I'd imagine that being that close to something with that large a magnetic force would mess with the old noggin. Could well be that, that the vacinne counteracts

Oh god I haven't slept in 2 days and I've gone 3 times over my monthly download limit, but I've finally caught up with Lost! It went very weak from about ep10-15, then picked right up again. Ep23 has just appeared online but apparently its dodgy, so I'm waiting till one is confirmed as being okay:D

Holy Fuck-a-roony. What the hell was half of that about!!

I love the fact that Desmond crashed the plane :) Makes sense.

Lock and Echo, must be dead, right?

Libby giving the boat to Desmond, then having it turn up at her funeral ;)

Micheals a cock, unless he turns round and twats the Others with rocket launchers.

Nice to see Clancy Brown as Kelvin and Jim from Neighbours!! :D
Now to go back to Episode 1 - Season 1 and watch all again before season 3 :)

woukldnt be so sure if eko and locke are dead, as both preety much represented the ying yang element.

but one thing that just seemed wierd the sky lights up big noise and then they act as nowts happened both the others and the crash plane peeps

and the map thing locke saw, was clancy brown and chum roaving about the island and reporting thier findings?

Edited to fix Yaka's typo for the spoiler!!

omg.

Indeed, omg such crap. Getting really tired of the creators sacrificing storytelling to keep the series lumbering on at snailpace in order to make maximum ammount of profit from it.

Patience my young Padowan. The storytelling is working perfectly, and you will appreciate the pace of the series when all is revealed at the end, whenever that may be.
