Just an idea, why don't we keep all Lost Season 2 talk to this sperate thread.

That way, people who are only watching Season 1 on Ch4 and don't want to, or are unable to download it, want look at spoilers for Season 2 by accident.

Btw, ep 1 of Season 2 rocked. Why couldn't they have a double episode for the begining of the series!! :(

Well, this episode left me feeling that there is definitely intent to this whole crash bit.

Agreed.

I firmly believe the crash was no accident. Gut feeling.

And Evangaline looks fucking awesome still :)

Just watched this...

Bastards! Definitely one of the best episodes to date. Loved the cliff hanger.

This season looks like it'll go somewhere!

Hasn't gripped me yet, as the previous season, but the trailer for ep#3 looks like they'll up the pace.

My eyes! I watched from episodes 9-24 of Series 1, and 1 and 2 of S2, in the last 30 hours. I'm caught up now! The 2nd series is shaping up to be awesome. I've really got no idea how everything adds up, but the crash definately wasn't an accident. The guy in the hatch is the one from Jack's flashback...mental. I bloody love this programme. Those "others" look frigging scary.

When is episode 3 aired in America?

Did anyone else notice that the sharks tail had Dharma on it? That was also in Desmond's bunker, and the stadium where Jack and Desmond met in the flashback. I really can't understand why though.

Mobius thats there purely to generate chatter.

99%+ of folks that watched this will never notice it, and it'll never be explained properly either. You can guarantee it will generate a few thousand message board posts ;)

I read somewhere that the next episode will only make everything more confusing, and then ALOT is revealed in episode 4. ;)

Theory!

The people you see at the end of s2e2 aren't infact "others" but the survivors of the plane. One of them is wearing similiar clothes to Ana-Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez, who flirts with Jack in the airport bar) and she said she was right at the back in the tail end of the plane "where the wheels come down" etc. They are wearing fairly modern clothes, albeit slightly tattered and also there weapons are fairly primitive compared to the grenades and guns the people on the boat had, if they are infact the others.

But why would other survivors of the crash tie up Jin?

One other thing to think about is that the power source for the transmission is almost certainly inside the hatch... which means danielle has been inside the hatch at some point.

Also, did anyone else find it cheesy that they left Jack, Kate and Locke in exactly the same place they ended with last week? Albeit if showing us what happend prior to that helped episode 1 make sense it was still rather cheesy and annoying to leave us at the same scene :p

Don't forget about the cable coming in from the sea. That could well be a power supply for it all (and most likely terminating in the bunker) but also some sort of communications for the dude in the bunker to receive orders through (the logos on everything in his larder indicate either a large organisation or a government). Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Anyone watched Orientation yet?
Lots of new bits but still you get left with a feeling of frustration. Like the numbers and the computer being discussed but not getting any info from it

I'm waiting for a decent rip of Episode 3 "Orientation" at the minute. My other ones were 700mb and great quality in full screen, but the only ones I can find for ep3 so far are half that size and apparently the sound is out of sync. Has anyone had any luck with a decent copy yet?

The one's that are half the size are the normal ones. The 700mb ones are high definition rips, and they look nice on my TV :)

There is a fix out for the TCM repack. Worked great for me. Everything in sync.

Ep3 is good. Doesnt really answer many questions though. I don't understand why Jack pushed the button at the end. By pushing it then, he gave in meaning someone is going to have to type the code every time.

As for 'the others'... they diddnt tell us anything apart from what we knew from Ep2. Except that the woman is evidently one of them and somehow she knew about the crash. Including the flight number.

All mine are 350mb and the quality is fine, HD TV rips

Latest one is out of sync though so i just changed the delay in XBMC Im a little annoyed with the concept of watching lost, i would rather wait till the whole of a seasoon is finished so i can watch them all in one go instead of having to wait a week to see if anything happens.

(Having to use brake returns to get a new para.)

In the closing scene of the latest ep (3), the countdown clock has a maximum of 999 minutes, instead of the expected 199. This is probably nothing, though. OR, they might do something funky and the clock will start counting from higher, or lower and in smaller time chunks maybe? bleh :p

Yep. Mine too. The quality is good. Not really much different from normal TV quality. Maybe a tiny bit lower. Certainly nothing that would stop you enjoying the show.

I dont think i'd want to download higher quality than that. It's just not worth the time it takes to download.

The HR-HDTV eps (700mb) are indeed very nice, but I'd not say they were quite double the quality of the 350, despite being double the size. The 350 is more than good enough for your average full screen tv watching, if you want uber - get yourself an uncompressed HDTV 720p/1080i rip, weighing in at a cool 4gbs. Now they look effing fantastic.

Well I downloaded the current one because I couldn't stand waiting for the 700mb ones, but once its available I'll replace mine with that. :)

Locke's father is a ****. :( I hope he gets hurt. Locke with hair is awesome. There wasn't much of Locke yelling "DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO!" this episode though. Its great on the American forums. They are asking for translations of what Desmond says. ;) The episode didn't really explain much. The black fellow is Rose's (the black woman from the flight, who was in a few episodes) husband, I think.

This was the one I got by the way. The quality is great in full screen, and the sound is totally in sync. I was being downloaded at around 200kbs too.
