OK so she's no oil-painting. So? I've seen photo's of lots of you who are all slating her for being a minger and you ain't gonna be winning any beauty contests any time soon either. And being a bit overweight is a fairly common trait in the real world I think you'll find. Personally I think it's good to see someone on telly who isn't a fucking anorexic stick insect. So, she's unattractive to most. Wow. Most of the people on IRC you see pictures of are ugly greasy spotty geeks. Most hardcore gamers are butt ugly, and it follows most people who use this forum are probably pretty ugly. Why? If they weren't, they wouldn't be spending all their time and money on it.

Let's face it, most cybergeeks are just plain ugly. So no one (with a few exceptions) on this board is really in a position to point fingers at Jade and call her minging. She may well be, but it takes one to know one.

Yes, she's thick compared to most people - but you'd be geniunely surprised how many people there are out there with that (low) level of intelligence. Quick fact time: they outweigh the generally intelligent people by a lot.

I think some of the stuff floating around about her is a bit o.t.t. Fair enough you must go into that programme with certain expectations about publicity, etc but I were her, I would become seriously repressed when coming out and seeing some of the things both in the tabloids and on the Internet.

So she's thick, overweight and unattractive. So are a lot of people.

Well, she's two-faced, she's a backstabber, she's so outspoken regardless of having made a completely uneducated tramp out of herself, she harped on about how she had a budding career as a cover girl model (and it turned out to be for the Sunday Sport).

But that's just her abrasive personality - I also dislike her because she's fat, and ugly - and I've never dated fat and ugly birds. As such, I don't see why I should give her leeway because she's embarrassed HERSELF so badly on national TV.

The stupid should remain quiet as not to make it so obvious that they are stupid. Then again, I suppose that concept in itself requires intelligence to conceptualise. I have no time whatsoever for stupid people. They do not deserve my time, attention, understanding, care, or effort.

Thing is though, it's a game show. A game show where the objective is to be the last person in the house and thus win £70,000. Would you not go into the house with designs on how to walk away with the cash? I know I would. I would make it my mission to disparage anyone I thought had a reasonable chance of being nominated, I'd twist innocent comments, attempt to turn people against a common "enemy". Why? I think people tend to forget there is an objective to the show, and that they aren't just in the house to "live". I personally find it quite comical when the media lambast anyone who dares to "scheme". Shit duh! That's the whole point of it, but to be subtle about it.

And therein is the problem.

People who lack intelligence don't realise when they are coming across as stupid to other more intelligent people, simply because they're too stupid to notice. It's a classic Catch 22.

To be brutally honest I find the whole "Jade bashing" thing somewhat retarded. People complain about how thick she is, whilst avidly watching the show (and by association her) day in, day out. It's like people who write to Points of View saying "I've just finished watching 3 hours of Braveheart and I must say I've never been so offended in all my life."

If people can't take how stupid/unattractive she is, they should just avoid looking at her really - makes perfect sense.

She may be ugly and thick, but she'll make a small fortune after the show ends selling her "story" to newspapers, principally because of all the morons who somehow think this show is "good" and has worthwhile content when in fact its a load of crap and the participants are certainly not worth any merit whatsoever.

Imho, all those who go on the show deserve whatever the media/public throw on them. They knew the risks and they certainly know how the media treat people as I cannot believe not one of them has read the Sun/Mirror/Sport.

Anyway, I am hopefully gonna get a new set of eyes today after they melted. Thanks Channel4 you bastards. Hmm, complaint to the ITC methinks as it was worse than animal pr0n. Ah, it was seeing as she is a pig

It's near impossible to achieve.

I reckon the best strategy is to be the least offensive person in the house up until the last 4 or 5 people, then start subliminally casting aspersions about whichever person happened to be the least favourite at the time.

Either that or you just sit back and watch the other people have their inevitable "bad chemistry" battles and hope you walk away with the prize simply through inertia. Difficult to achieve without coming across as being boring though, or like a nodding dog - agreeing with everyone's opinion so as not to cause any conflicts that might result in you getting nominated by them. Alex seems to be doing this well - he's both opinionated, weathered the initial storm of him coming across as "whiney".

I was personally rooting for PJ but as he's up against Kate I can't see him staying.

To be honest, given I would imagine 75% of the people that watch BB avidly are women, two things are likely to happen:

• None of the girl contestants will win,
• The most attractive/effeminate/sincere/sensitive bloke will win.
