are drops for the new classes only availiable in the new zone or can you get some drops from the existing zones?

Yes, items have been added in all zones for the new classes with appropriate stats.

ive found the drop rate for rare/unique items much much higher in SI though although i have got stuff from out of SI.
But i now have about 10 whips and lots of chain in my vault for any reavers who want them.
