The Irony of this thread is that the poster now got a prince drop, as did quite a few others, including me. I now wield 2 prince drops having been on 7 hunts over 10 days. Patience is indeed a virtue.

Lets see, today we got the DOT stiletto from our prince and I did the excact same thing and withdrew from it and gave it to Aei, ok np (at this point Nova also points out I probably have a bigger chance of getting something I *really* want if I just give it to Aei). Then we go to the Legion raid .. bow drops and I thought what the heck, I dont feel like arguing and let Xero and Tdaer decide (Tdaer got it). Ok days third raid, we kill our prince and the Alb prince, 2 piercers drop, Soulshade and another DOT stiletto... I still dont feel like having it so I pass the lotto and the Gray gets the stiletto .. now comes up Soulshade which was the only reason I actually bothered to partly lead the zerg in DF and guess what? I dont even get a say in before everyone cries (you included) IZIZ! like the goddamn biggest fanboys. Lag, a bit of drink and extremely pissed off then, after wasting several hours watching ppl fall off cliffs etc. :/ I've been to almost double more hunts than you and I've only 1 drop, when people who already have several drops get more (Dachrack anyone? enough to post them up for trade on BW)

So lets see Eleasias - your primary weapon and mode of attack is? A bow. Melee is a primarily a defense, against assasins, for rangers.

And Iziz primary weapon and mode of attack is? Piercers, and for shades attacking from stealth with the absolute best possible weapons, an absolute necessity.

I'll let you figure it out. As you stated, you have received a drop, and Iziz has received none. Next time I go to a hunt I will vote for whoever I think has the most use for it, and in the case of this piercer it is far more deadly in the hands of a NS, especially at keep retakes. I am a very fair minded person and if a bow had dropped would have voted for you over my guild mates, Gray and Sonny.

As for you comment about Dachrak, I have no idea how many drops he has and nor do I care particularly. The reason I have two blades in such a short time is quite simple. They are both LH usable so are primary weapons for CD users. Who is the primary CD user in Hibernia?

You are the top RP earner on the whole server, and I don't believe you got much of them through melee, which is why I voted for Iziz. I am not as you call a 'fanboy'. I try my best to get along with everyone, but it is damned difficult when people squabble over every common drop, and all the drops off the Princes can be classed as common.

There was little agreement, so the lotto was suggested. There was then a disagreement over who would have certain numbers so people were numbered top to bottom. I then asked the closest person not in the cg, who was Nova, for a number between 1 and 9. He said 7, which was Anno's number. while i would have rather seen this drop go to a melee class thats just the luck of the draw and there will be more. As for it going to cf, well if you look at the people who were interested 4 out of the 6 i could remember were cf, and i think another 1 or 2 were also from cf. This makes it a statistical probability that the drop will go to a cf member in a situation where the drop was randomised. I am glad novamir didnt say my number, 6, because if i had then i am sure that *some ppl* might have accused foul play. as for the coin drop are you sure everyone gets the same amount of coin from a drop regarldess of level?

been on 5 prince raids, and 1 succesfull legion raid.... (4 prince raids were with Miss, and 1 prince raid and the legion raid was with Peach)
my drop status = zero, zip, nothing, nada...

Let's see - you have 1 soulshade already, not to mention those 2 dobs. You have your epic armour, all the drops you wanted off the epic mobs, aswell as all the jewellery drops you wanted from hib. WTF are you moaning about? You are probably the best equipped person, let alone ranger in the game, but you still have the nerve to moan, when you don't have 2 out of the only 3 piercers that have dropped so far for the realm... especially as the bow is your primary weapon, not piercers/blades. I don't expect to get another one for a while, because there are lots of people in the realm that are deserving of one (and who go on the raids), before you, me or anyone else gets a second one.

I've rarely been on a hunt where a system is worked out b4 about the drops. The ones I have been on have usually ended up with some form of argument about who needs it most.

I never ask for a drop as I think it sounds greedy. I always offer a drop to my group, even if I would like it. Perhaps I am a fool as it was only 2 days ago that I finally got a pair of af 98 gloves (I've been lvl 50 for ages now). At the end of the day, ppl remember who is greedy and will stop grouping with them eventually so patience really is a virtue. I've grouped with a lot of Celtic Fist guys and have done very well with the drops. I just think that since df came available to us, ppl are forgetting their freinds and allies in the desperate rush to get all the drops they want. I've stopped going in there for the time being as I have witnessed normally rational and generous people, turn into selfish, bikkering idiots (this is not aimed at anyone who has posted here). Greed is a powerfull thing

I've been on the big Prince killing spree, another Prince run and the successful Legion hunt.

But being 45, and mostly out of that "clique" means no drops for me. It doesn't matter whether our group kept the adds off any of the more important groups, or whose ass we saved at crunch time. I saw the bickering in TNM afterwards and didn't feel like the headache.

But I did have a great time and do realise that it is mostly the 50's that can use the weapons etc. I just wonder why they also go after the armour drops when most of them went to get their Epic sets the day of 1.49's release. Are the Prince's/Legions drops that much better?

So I've seen alot of DF, had fun killing the mobs and generally enjoyed myself. The excuse of "But the sub 50's get XP" doesn't quite wash as the gains are not that great.

I'll support my Guild in absolutely any way they ask, but until there is more in it for us(Drops/Seals) don't ask too many sub 50/47 groups to come assist you to ensure you have the numbers to get the 2nd, 3rd 4th Legion drop in a week.

What did absolutely make my day was getting a message from a friend to meet me at the merchants a while later. Glowing shit rules boet!

To get back to an earlier comment, I think the coinroll system is a great idea and very fair. The people who don't get the drop will still be as pissed off as before, but they won't have anything to complain about at least The only thing I'd suggest is that you come up with a plan to limit who can lay claim to what items. Otherwise we're gonna end up with another uber lvl 50 item going to a lvl 40 player again.

Peeps this is too stupid. I was in a pretty good gorup in DF before all went for teh legion, planned to go hunt for some deamond seals. Then we decided to go help on the legion raid instead but with dubds. Cause I know from start I wouldn't get anything from it anyway, but did it for the fun and to help out with some damage.

After we killed legion, all went to albs side of DF witch was very fun. Loads of mass kill albs, great RP and great fun. Most died and met up in Tnb to discuss loot. I was in there I bit longer than most so arrived to Tnb bit after.

When I got to Tnb all high lvls in hib sat around stable master and the broad channel was spammed to death with "I want that" "I need that", and it was a total chaos of greedy hibs. Ofcoure I really need some of the stuff to but who doesn't??? I found back my old group in there, hoping we could get back to DF for some hunt. But everybody just wanted to sit there and argue likr children. This is WAY to much bull shit talk and whining for me, so after 30sec there I jumped on horse back to DF again.

Hope I won't see this again anymore, really makes me sad. Grow up people, you can still hunt and RvR without a UBER legion weapon you have to whine several hours to get

Feel sorry for the once that arranged it to deal the items fair, cause thats impossible in that mess. I bet most of the stuff went to wrong peaple anyway. Too sad really

Instead of whining get back and kill it again and again - but i guess the drop getters are just too lacy to help out the mates who brought them there to get the drop.

THIS IS SOOOOO SAD ! I get my drops not everytime and i'm still playing and enjoy the company of those who got "my" drops.

That's the main idea of the game remember - TEAMPLAY !!!

1st gets drop, get there again and get it for the 2nd. Uh, it's a random, drop ? well the 3rd will be happy about that one. and so on and so on.

The difference from one weap or AF to another is'nt that big a deal anyway imo .. I've tried to arrange for some fair looting system back in Coru when I was too high lvled to be intersted in any of the drops anyway but everyone just whined. That's when I came up with the most stupid idea ever ..

Another funny thing was after it dropped a 1h weapon I was'nt really interested in at all (I'm a LW user) one of the team members went crazy just to make sure I got the drop and not the other tank based on 1h
The other tank had already gotten the last 1h weap that dropped and was now moaning to get the next one as well ..

This is all really too stupid, just try to figure out who needs it most and settle with that, the one that gets it gives his old to the others that did'nt get it, an so it goes.

Gorguss will not argue for loot until all his equ is green cuz the difference is'nt that big.. Just give it some time, you will get there.

Oh, and do some quests, they are fun.

Ill tell you guys a story that happened to me

We were 4-5 groups going a raid to the prince and other stuff, which was very fun. After the raid i thought id just go rvr, i didnt know that the items would be shared out at Mbeo afterwords.(i know this was told/yelled, but i wasent paying much attension)

Anyways i was headed Ligen, then suddenly 4 people msg me and said that i should come to Mbeo becaus there were a nice off-hand blade drop from the prince that i might be interested in getting. Four people, i Remeber Wuren, Lavelle and Lewistherin atm.

So i went to mbeo. They were just about finnished with the item give out when i arrived. So I sat down and waited, then they saw me and asked if i was interested in a blade. Of corse i said And since the item is was off-hand and had BM stats i got it

I thought i was damn lucky, but this also proves that they arent just thinking of giving items to friends ore guildies.. And i hardly(i could even say never) play in groups with Wuren, Lavelle ore Lewis.

I didnt post this to brag, but just to say that they dont take all the stuff to them selves! They actually think about others, even a little uknowing gimp like me

on middie we had a double guild epicmob hunt and we stumbled over _THE_ best tanker cloak in the game, and more than 70% of the players were drooling over this cloak...

we did the same, pick a number between 1-x and then draupnir asked randomgit (some dude named tarzan I think) to say a number between 1-x, and blupje got the cloak, and everyone congratulated and we moved on to next item...

whining and moaning over loot is just too lame.
Ive been on 3-4 prince raids in DF and Ive only gotten one thing, and on top of that I tend to have bad luck getting the seals from autosplit, and u dont see me moaning over this... I know legion drop is worth more etc, but still it is childish to moan about it forever. I could understand it if someone snagged all items etc.

another thing, keep in mind that those who care to arrange a raid like that, should imo. be entitled to pick first or something similar... its not something I/we use, but thats how it should be.. it does take alot extra work, and if something goes wrong guess who ppl tend to blame..
