I must say the lootsharing system sux, we cant have a lottery system were one person ask another for a number, and that number wins. Lets say 7 people want a drop, u start a cg with thoose 7 one in the cg ask another person "not in cg" for a number between 1-7 he says 6, the winner is nr 6 in cg list.......

i dont blame anyone for cheating or something like that, but u cant be sure people are cheating using this system.........

Why not use coinroll like they do on US server, if we are 8 in cg who wants the item go kill a mob and if it drops 27s 35c NR 5 gets the drop. LAST NUMBER IN COPPER, if it doesnt drop copper then the last number in silver is the winner.

everyone sees the winning number and have no reson to be angry just give the winner a gratz and hope for better luck next time.

Give me some comments on this plz

I am not happy with the fact players lose faith in the honesty of realm mates just because they didn't 'won' the loot. It makes a very bad look imo. Although I am open for all new loot sharing ideas I don't think accusing people or guilds for cheating is a very nice and wize thing to do.

thus CF are cheaters who like to keep all drops for themselves and are evil anti-hib lamers !

I told everyone in chatgroup to do a coinroll instead of a kindergarden lottery system, never got a reply from anyone, 3sek after the lottery was over...

and dach iam not acusing anyone for cheating i just say that there is a possibility that people cheat like this.

And about Fiery Seals I never have seen em distributed before (4 times i was there). I did got some this raid (I even don't know what they are :) ) But if those needs to be in the loot sharing thats fine by me.

In fact, I wonder if Eleasias himself would admit to it.

The loot was shared using CF lottery system not coinroll.....think i posted something about it a bit higher up eble try read that before u post here

Noone from CF has still posted if my ide for lootsharing is good, so i bet u going to stay with CF lottery system, to bad guys

Maybe rather than doing coindrop, you could say:

/as someone pick a number between 1 and 7

then someone......a completely random person says 4

He could be from any guild, and then there is little chance of someone fixing. It's easier that trying to find a green conning mob to 50's at TNM.

And before someone brings up /as rules and spamming.....well rules have to be bent sometimes, and if you take it as standard procedure noone is going to complain about it. People are going to complain about people calling CF a bunch of tards in Sweedish in /as cos they can't get a loot system right.

But, I really think you need to pick a fair loot system and stick with it. You also need to decide what you want to do with the sub-47's. You need a loot policy and you need to make it clear what it is at each raid BEFORE you leave.

Paen, Eble wrote Werga instead of you first of all, he edited it so it says your name, the bit where he says

Werga != Paen, means, that Werga is not Paen, and that's the reason for the edit.

And by the way, we don't actually use a set system to share drops, that is established in the guild.

Whoever shares the drops is doing it independantly, and not by any guidelines set by CF.

So, I think you should have taken this up with whoever was actually giving out the drops, rather than the entire guild <not hammering on you, simply a suggestion>.

I'm all for a random lotto, using the copper method, but I do worry about an excellent drop going to somewhere were it won't be used to its maximum potential, so to speak..

But any other method includes human opinion etc, and so is more prone to some form of corruption, favouritism, greed, etc.

And then there is the minimum level argument, the 'my alt is lvl 45 and can use it' people etc..

But why are decisions being made my CF as you claim, and not by the alliance. I am the GM of an alliance guild. I have never been asked to participate in any chat relating to the way the alliance works, or towards any set system. If decisions are being made in the alliance that relate to the alliance guilds then we should be informed. If we disagree we can leave the alliance or make a suggestion. But to have decisions made without our consent or knowledge is unfair.

I am just trying to tell you guys that it is a good idea to have a set method and have all people adhere to it. I went into one of these chatgroups and it was a mess, 5 people saying I want it, and noone had any idea how to resolve it. In the end it went to those that were highest and could gain optimum use from them. I don't want to spend 30 minutes fighting over loot when I could be xp'ing or RvR'ing.

Even the guess a number rule is flawed, I suggest that the numbers within the group are picked by the members of the group, rather than by their position in the chat group, as the first person forming the chatgroup is alway no1.

I know of 3 people that left the loot distribution because of the bickering, and there must have been more.

Get a policy, agree it with the alliance and get it down.

What don't get here is how the loot-discussion and the alliance get thrown together, since people taking part in the raid weren't restricted to alliance only, so it should have nothing to do with it.

Anyway, it's only items, and if one drops there will be another one some other time - it's just not worth argueing that much about loot ;)

Festima I made the remark about puberty and I apologise, but I was a little incensed that Celtic Fist are being made out to look like bad guys. When I mentioned about 2 drops appearing and that I gave them to whomever was suggest, both of which were outside CF, you flamed me. It is impossible to please everyone.

You mention about being in a cg where no one could decide who should have the item. Why is that? Because everyone wanted it and were not prepared to let another have instead of them? A couple of nights before, there was another prince raid and we shared the loot at mbeo as per usual. A LH sword dropped and there were two BMs present who both wanted it, myself and Almecunia. Rather than hunt down a mob, toss a coin etc I decided to withdraw and let Almecunia have it, because we are people that get on quite well and I'd rather let him have it than risk falling out. But then drops have never bothered me that much.

The Irony of this thread is that the poster now got a prince drop, as did quite a few others, including me. I now wield 2 prince drops having been on 7 hunts over 10 days. Patience is indeed a virtue. :) :) :)
