Woodfords is the best I've come across (I sell it too) :) Southern Comfort is a liqueur and not a Bourbon.

Red Eye seems to not be sold in this country, where have you had it before?

generally give positive results if it can be got. I will check some supplier mags at work tomorrow though.

You had not edited your post when I replied, you sneaky git!

It's going to cost a fair bit to get it sent over, but after a thorough googling, I think trem is right, you ain't finding that anywhere local.

Check the times, we were both typing and hit the buttons at the same time.

Oh and your mind does not boggle, it is boggling.

Who drinks whisky?

Menstrual fluid, dead babies and antifreeze use a liquidiser until smooth.

I call it "creme de la corpse".

Lovely stuff Highland Park, I'm more of a Sherry casked man myself (read: total wuss according to my scottish bro in law) Glenrothes, Aberlour, Jura, Lochnaggar are ones I like atm.

Jura is a fucking insult to the world of whisky (imo). I have a bottle of it to use for cleaning stuff, and I'm not joking. However I do agree that port and sherry cask finishes are extremely lovely and not wussy at all - and I'm Scottish.

Laphroaig 15 year old presses my buttons as I'm a lover of the Iodine / medicinal qualities of it.

Can't be too far wrong, the pre-eminent whisky reviewer in the world (RIP) thought it was ok: Review - not great but alright :)

The US has ridiculous shipping laws when it comes to alcohol, in some states it isn't legal to import wine from other states. From what I understand from wine enthusiasts there it is essentially down to bribery from multinationals.
