crafted axe with 2.4 spd has 15.0 dps
the only one 16.2/2.4 axe is brilliant ebony axe of mindless rage, with qua 89% and bon 25%

estat you 200% sure about that? *looks at his brilliant ebony axe of mindless rage and its 89% qua*

only 4.2 spd crafted would be a dbaxe(doublebladed axe), is 16.1 dps, but thats kinda of less importance :p
any chance for bumping fons a bit :>

arc DB axe has 16.1 written but 16.2 in reality

arc hand axe beats mindless axe in dmg.

DB + hand - best combo.

In case you didn't notice, off-hand damage is inconsequential  Better get stuff out of it that makes you hit harder on main

i hit infi's on 200+50 average, off-hand axe does good 25% of dmg.

besides, better bonus on it makes more likely to apply 2nd poison on target.

who cares if u do 10% more on offhand, its not like you hit hard with it anyways.. its rare I hit for more than 90-100 on it with 50/50 spec.

I prefer the stats I get from the mindless axe, but I'll go far to get the last 1% on it, just to be pickerish :p

on my 2 highest hits so far, I hit for 153 and 154 on offhand, 10% more on that is a w00ping 15.3 and 15.4 more dam :p

imo stats is worth more on offhand, untill 1.53 (spellcrafting) and then it will be a crafted handaxe.. in 1.54 we FINALLY get a fast 16.5 dps crafted, tho :)

anyways, there isnt any doubt that a 4.2 mainhand 2.4 offhand will be the best choice, only compromise would be a 4.0 crafted cleaver for main.

Well considering shadowblades have that oooozy stuff called envenom they want to land, it's not surprising we like our axes to actually hit ;P

u got a point there varg :)

and I dont think that the stats on ebony axe is that special for sb's either..

but make that 2nd hand a handaxe anyways, u still get 35% bonus (I think?) on the handaxes :)

With an Ebony Axe of Mindless Rage you'd do maybe 200+40 or close enough :p

Aye sub I have tried both the brilliant and the ordinary axes of mindless rage, and have found both clearly inferior to one of Jimli's hand axes, when it comes to actually hitting epic armour.

For a sb it's very important to land the poisons asap, especially if the victim is e.g. a cleric.

Failing to land debuff and/or disease, before they stun/heal up, is not something you want.

Giiiiv spellcrafting :> .....

..... not available until 1.54, at the earliest BTW.

The new 16.5 DPS left hand axe should be in 1.53, but as far I understand, hand axe will remain superior, due to its hastening effect.
