my gf wants some hard but uplifting dance / trance to listen to while she bikes her daily workout. I know nothing of the genre, but I imagine some of you do?

anyone got some artists they particularly admire? I am also curious as to what you like most about them btw.

Try Paul Oakenfold's remixes, they're pretty good, also check out Push, Robert Miles, Chicane, DJ Tiesto, Paul van Dyk.

heh I have a whole stack of Prodigy cds, she's been through them a few times.

breaking my head over tunes I used to listen to I can vaguely remember 808state and some Orbital. jam and spoon, Cygnus X, Josh Wink.

Paul Oakenfold isn't hard, nor very uplifting most of the time so avoid him imo.
