Looking for SB guide

So I am sitting here thinking of rolling my first stealther ever. Since I am super n00b on this territory I was wondering if there are any decent guides around where you can read up on SB's. Any tips on BG1 specs would be nice also.

Try the rouge boards at http://vnboards.ign.com/Midgard_Rogue_Professions/b20912/ if you can sift through all the whine and constant DMG logs (that prove nothing and miss the point entirly) theres actually some half decent advice there.

Be prepared for a rough ride though life is far from easy as a SB atm and only gets more difficult with NF if your hoping to go out and solo and wtfpwn ppl then reconsider, if you just like the idea of the class then go for it and I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for the advice m8. No I am not looking to wtfpwn ppl, stealthing just seem like alot of fun and I want to try out some duo SB with my brother.

Thats after I have gotten hold of all artis I want for my template etc etc

try a hunter instead, can stealth, got range ... and with NF you'll be the one spotting assassins (MoS).

yer in bg1... at lvl 50 rvr you are one hell of a lucky boy to take like 70% in 1 shot from a toa'ed caster

Unlike most of the wajners I think NF will only be good for assassins --> for the first time you'll be able to actually kill someone inside a keep without getting ur ass raped within seconds, and it'll be a lot easier to have a 1 on 1 without getting instazerged by that odd fgh

well the thread is about shadowblades not all assassins and you are very wrong in thinking that we will be able to climb into a keep and kill anything, there are so many reasons for this I'm not even going to try and list them, guess if you play an assassin you will find them out for yourself soon enough!

True!

Have played gorre abit with hunter and spiritmaster and can say, you are practicaly safe from infils/nightshades inside towers and keeps. And that is without stealthlore or Pnodes...

But I belive assassins can be very fun to play anyway, you run faster in stealth with master of stealth and you can do some serious covert operations outside keeps assassin siege weapon operators, camp bridges and docks etc.
Alot of fun stuff to do in NF for all, just adapt

Sounds like fun. My SB is at lvl 47 atm and going strong. Gonna duo some with my brother and his SB, I think that can be alot of fun.
