Looking for pure scout sniper template

been fiddling with one for awhile now and i just cant fix one i'm happy with :x must haves:


101 dex
8+ cast speed
10 range
6+ damage
5+ pierce

+11 archery
+11 stealth
+11 thrust

all resists 25+ (if not possible at bare minimum body 26 cold 26 matter 26 energy 26 slash 26 crush 26 thrust 26 spirit 16+ heat 16+)

not essential but would be nice:

+11 shield
101 str
75+ con
300+ hits

not bothered about melee bonuses - would like to use legendary weapons so don't fill the weapon slot with ml10/dragon or champ weps.

If i were you for melee id just get a crafted shield and sc +8 shield on it and get +3 shield bonus as 5th slot bonus on the shield so the shield will take care of itself , most troublesome weapon i find scouts using these days in melee is the dragon pierce , the dot proc is nasty same for the labby dot thruster

I could do that with the shield but i'd drop to 91/91 dex then also the 2 weapons you mentioned I couldnt fit in i'll try again later and see if i can get atleast the virulent soul sapper in.

balls GoV for scouts has 4% melee 4% style 4% spell duration 4% spell range on... why on earth would they give scouts spell duration :< oh hai my moc lasts longer olololol.... gonna have to get gsv or slayer chest into it now ¬_¬

use gsv, cloth cap and AT. GoV is useless for archer, GSV proc is where it is

Use AT + ML10 cloak to get spell pierce instead. Using cloth pieces on a studded char isn't really recommendable. Or you can use the alb spellpierce bow (assuming they have one?) + ML10 cloak for 10% pierce if you want more utility in the gem slot. But you won't be flexible swapping bow then

And yes GSV is where it's at for sniper

For alternate resist pierce items, the 2009 halloween ones for scouts are decent. There's the bracer of sudden finality that has 2%pierce, and belt of ?????? (i forgot) that has 3%pierce. Combine those 2 with AT and you dont have to wear a cloth cap or stick to the same golestandt bow. Also I really recommend 10 spell dmg, with 10 pierce and 400 dex your getting some really really nice dmg. Miss my scout on ywain now thinking about it

don't need to sharkskin gloves has a /use 5% spell pierce on which brings it upto 10% I went with this one in the end - I was a little iffy about the low con/hits but it worked out in the end stealthers always purge my first slam but I had no problems staying alive until I could reslam and once they were slammed a second time it was game over via point blank spam :> shooting tanks for 300-400 without crits so its doing nice.. most i've hit a caster for so far was 901 with crit shot from stealth.

Fack 10% casting speed u cap with 6-7% on 400 dex iirc. 10% dmg and 10% range + spell pierce is more important imo. Who cares if it doesnt have capped + shield its a pure sniper temp so "engage 4tw gaymodeon". Here is what i use and i <3 it no bow equiped

I run one similar to minstrel's gotta shoot for 10dmg/10pierce on the TOA's for a sniper for me.

Edit: permanantly not having 10pierce up due to /use to isnt for me but each to their own.

dont need to use cloth cap really just use 5% from either AT or ml10 bow + sharkskin /use it lasts 5 minutes does the job fine for me I still hit like a train without 10% pierce

errr not ml10 bow sorry the cloak has 5% pierce on typo on my behalf as for getting ml10 bow i've already got it only missing ml10 studded chest now and I can make that template saru posted.

Sometimes it does 130-140 per tic . Oh only tics 4 times but stil not once i got dot proc on a target that was runing out of range or inside a tower/keep on 5-10% hp and they die cause of dot

i'm not stupid enough to shoot a rr11 lock might try a rr1-2 lock but nothing above that because they're so silly as for the bd i've only had problems with bds with the caster pets because they insta interupt you from miles away i've cained supp bds/bone army bds before the pets could get anywhere near me or get enough heals off to keep the bd alive 2530 range > bd lifetap/interupt range.

Its 3 ticks of 125 base , so if person has hopeless heat resists maybe more

7/10 damage atm and at rr2 slapped a caster in the face for 1314 with a crit shot can't wait for 10/10 damage.
