how does it work? do they drop random toa loot ?

Yeah, but you can turn in the essence(5e = 1 orb) they drop. I think Fadrin is 3 orbs. Once you turn in the orbs and click on Fadrin the merchant will give you a random amount of Fadrin loot. Can be all rogs or you can get some of the regular drops..

I'll log on bard tomorrow and show you.. I can also do it now if you have time?
