To MoC or not to MoC, that's the question.

Been running with all out passives so far, but thinking about getting MoC. At least to try it out.

Purge2, MoC3, Aug Dex3, MoM3, WP3, Aug Acu2 and MoF1

We'll see how that works out.

IMO, MoC is only good for lifetappers and binary spell effects casters (cure mez, strip buffs, etc). If you, as a primary damage dealer, find yourself in a situation where you need MoC, then it's a much better idea to reposition yourself instead or call your local bodyguard.

No MoC? eeek

Hes a fire wiz... MoC on a wizard (imo) is just crap - if u cant get urself in a position where u can
cast (granted in some occasions its not easy) then roll a tank - losing 25% damage as a pure damage dealer (no other utility to speak of) is madness. Ofc this only applies to a fire wiz and id suggest getting MoC as an ice wiz primarily geared towards keep fights but thats just wot i enjoy.

Also like to note i run solo most of the time so im dead before MoC becomes useful. As its its uses in groups i dont know.

All very helpful posts regards moc no doubt but doesn`t help him find a guild ;)

Perhaps try and group with a few people rvring see which people you get on with and seem to be in a good guild and apply to whoever you like the look of :)

We're always recruiting though we're a PvE and RvR guild so basically do whatever people in guild feel like doing to enjoy themselves. Give me a shout if your interested in joining us and we can have a chat.

Not sure who else is recruiting atm, I think most RvR guilds run without a fire wizard.

id still say moc is needed for all wizards.. in fg v fg fights, its pretty rare to leave a pure damage dealer without interrupted. sure you can give him a bodyguard, but that wont help much against casters, banelord stuff, etc. and as you dont have any instas to win these interrupt fights, its pretty likely to end up trying to cast, but you get interrupted.
and still, 75% >> 0% damage.

We all know how much you know about casters and your own class :)

MoC for a wizzy is good @ high RR's when you have the RA's to make up for the damage loss.
