Personally, considering that the Plex theme is still in it's infancy, I quite like how it's shaping up. Once a proper hardware-based GUI is developed it should be cool 
The new taskbar is interesting, in a subtle manner However, I guess it is ultimately down to one's own taste, or lack thereof

Longhorn isn't too bad considering its only in its early stages (had a play on the M4 release).
There was a XP port of the Plex theme on neowin until M$ had their way and got the site shut down for some mickey mouse reason.

Yeah, I believe the Plex theme is also available on ThemeXP. As for NeoWin, it's back up now. Apparantly it was a sub-contracter Microsoft use to investigate illegality on the Internet. Instead of contacting NeoWin they incorrectly contacted their host who paniced. Microsoft UK are, however, to investigate where things went wrong so as to prevent any such mistakes occurring in the future.
