It's 'Going Underground' by The Jam.tris- said:i thought it was boom town rats - i dont like mondays
but i feel im very much mistaken
tris- said:whys that then?
its a song ffs. it has no bearing or relation to whats happend apart from its about the shit staff of the underground.
well done for looking too much into it.
you cant go through life and not say anything incase it has some relation to a past attrocity.
thats just fucking rediculous.
Song said:London Under Ground, They're all greedy c^nts i want to shoot them all with a rifle.. Etc ..etc
tris- said:actually i can. but you dont seem to understand ITS A SONG.
it has nothing to do with killing the general public thinking they are a terrorist. it has nothing to do with terrorist acts.
i take it from the song you didnt see it was all in humour? and he is talking about shooting the staff for being c'nts?
and if you want to be pedantic (which you seem eager to be) about it all, the person you are talking about wasnt shot with a rifle.
tris- said:ive been here since barrysworld. but thanks anyway
if you didnt want a discussion you shouldnt of started one.
Sparx said:does my head in. i heard it about a year before everyone had it on their phones
Infanity said:I think the song now after whats happend is alot more serious especially for people hearing it for the first time. Some people may be offended especially those involved with the disaster.
I understand if you cant get your head round that.
Thadius said:It happened. No point saying "Oh you cant play that song in case it upsets some people"
Yes I know it happened and yes I know people died, but America needs to let 9/11 rest now, no point bringing it up everytime they want a war or to get votes.
Londoners are know world over for standing up in the face of danger and getting on with life(look at the Blitz and the bombings)
On another note, do you see people calling for Irish music to be banned or gangster rap to be abolished because in both cases, they have killed people in cold blood(IRA anyone?) or in the case of Rap, its "cool" to shoot people
