TBH I think the way the world portrays America after the Iraq fiasco, invading Korea would be the last straw on the camels back.

If America did take it upon themselves, I would predict a couple of things would happen, 1 being the rest of the world saying "Fuck off and fight your own war." & a LOT more terrorist attacks vs the US.

Attacking N. Korea would be one of the most foolish decisions ever.

Doubt it, seeing as even China is pissed off at them

How about u pay a little fuking respect? I actually stopped working at 12 today and observed a 2 minute silence. A friend of mine died during 9/11 and ive paid a lot of respect thank u. If someone is gonna come on here and start coming out with an anti US/UK argument im going to respond because I firmly believe it was a good decision to go into Iraq.

From your comment it seems like we should pay respect just cos its the right thing to do without actually thinking about it.

Or you could take your comments and turn it into a new thread, away from this.

The link eggy gave was something quite in touch with the heart. To have that feeling wrecked by a bunch of people discussing Iraq and then one person saying:

the one thing i dont get, they said 52 died, well thats not that many people, im sure more die daily of other things but dont get minute silences or such?

is just so disrespectul.

Questions About 7/7 The Tanweer Video Doesn't Answer

'Al-Qaeda' only chooses to release its video productions at the most politically expedient times to maximize the benefits enjoyed from them by the Bush and Blair administrations.

The schedule is so scripted, timed and orderly that Brian Ross at ABC News now reports days in advance when a new tape is about to be released.

Therefore it was no surprise to learn of the Shehzad Tanweer video, released to coincide with the anniversary of the 7/7 bombings in London.

Is the Tanweer video for real or a mock-up created by 10-year-old special effects that enabled us to see Forrest Gump shake hands with President Kennedy? In a sense it doesn't matter because even the Metropolitan Police admit that the alleged bombers were dupes set up by someone else and didn't know they were about to die.

- Why was the supposed ringleader of the attack Haroon Rashid Aswat working for MI6?

- Why were exercises targeting the exact same locations at the exact same time taking place on the morning of 7/7?

- Why was an innocent Brazilian electrician whose behavior offered no signs that he could be a suicide bomber shot multiple times in the head by undercover police on July 22nd?

- Why did eyewitnesses on two separate trains describe the bombs as exploding up from under the carriage and saying no Muslims with backpacks were in the immediate vicinity?

- Who profited from short selling the British pound in the 10 days leading up to the attacks?

- Why did the alleged suicide bombers have return train tickets and why did their behavior at no point suggest that they were about to die?

Today's minute's silence in honor of the victims should be acknowledged with a resolve to pursue every angle of the attacks and pinpoint exactly which organization used the 'dupe' bombers to wreak havoc in London one year ago today.

I second that, go peddle your twaddle somewhere else Joor. Your cut and paste politics are at the best of times incorrect or just drivel, and they have no place in this thread.

wont comment on adlatus (unless you want in pm?) but please joor, keep it out of this - discuss it in another thread (even tho it's probably inevitable that a war will come in this thread, eggy should have locked it and stuck it up or smth) because some of those points are downright stupid arguments (buying tickets, no muslims etc).

Actually in that case you should say: People can't chose if someone blows them up.

But, i think the key element here is that this here forum is MAINLY united kingdom inhabited and all us euro-pee-ons, Scannies and Americanas should pay a decent amount of respect even if the lucky ones of us here don't know what it's like.

I could say a LOAD of sh*t, people know it, but i decide on shutting up on threads like these.
